I think this might be in preparation to cut Pugh, which I am fine with if they use his money to get a corner.

I watched nearly every Bills game last year and Winters was pretty bad, I'm hoping he doesn't see significant time with the Cardinals.

Pugh might be slightly over paid but not by much. I dont see him as a cut candidate so these are likely depth signings.

our guards should look a lot better with a competent center that doesnt need help

Can they play corner?

Vet min camp bodies.

I doubt either stick.

There's no way Winters is signed with starting in mind. He's a solid 50-60 grade career guard. Consistently below average and certainly no better than Murray, Cole or Gaillard.

I think this is more of a threat to Cole. Max can play both guard spots and has some centre snaps on his resume; not sure about Winters.

We'll probably keep 9 or 10 o-lineman.

If this means we don't ever have to see Cole again, then cool.

Why?

Brian Winters is a 30 year thats proven below average.

Mason Cole is 24 and offers much more than Winters. Including the ability to play C, G and T.

Brian Winters PFF grade - 54.6
Mason Cole PFF grade - 54.4

Give me the 24 year old with position flexibility all day.

Cole has to improve the strength otherwise is manhandled pretty bad and still be the problem anywhere he goes

BADLY. Cole can play those positions BADLY. And he hasn't showed progression.

PFF grades? Who cares about those?

So, like Winters.

A 24 year old has scope to improve. A 30 year old is already set at bad.

Yes but Cole from 22 to 24, which progress he made?
Everyone were expecting him to put some quality weight and gaining strength, and he still be the weaker lineman in the league
