Kurt is the QB on this team. If Leinhart stays (and I hope he does), he needs to work harder at becoming a great QB. He isn't at the level of Kurt. Period.

Like I said in the OP, I don't know of a QB in the league who could have done what Kurt did tonight against the #1 defense in the league.

We lost, almost any QB can do that.

He threw a nauseating pick at the worst possible time of the hugest proportions.

Then he went nuts throwing against soft coverage over the middle and Fitz popped one that he did actually hit him right in stride on.

Meanwhile back at the farm our defense got gassed trotting back out for all the heroics that DIDN"T HAVE TO HAPPEN.

Kurt is a very good QB for stats and such but this at all costs thing IMO isn't the best option, if you can get him back at a reasonable contract amount for two years or less fine.

He guided this team this far. He's about the only QB that could have done that. Who fault is it that they stayed out there for multiple long possessions??? NOT KURT'S! :mulli:

I think everyone realizes whose camp I am in terms of favortie player but I am little incredulous about where this thread is going.

Kurt is not my favorite player personally and I don't really factor in personality in terms of players if it doesn't relate to on the field ( I mean who knows what is real and what isn't) but I want him back 100%.

I don't really fault him too much for the Pick 6 because thats a slant and you have to get the ball out fast. That was just a great play and ven better run back by the DPOY.

But for gods sakes he played great last night (he has the top 3 yardage games in SB history) and is there any doubt that his one of the best postseason QB's of all time?

I want him back and want to go for homefield next season throughout the playoffs. And I want Matt back because I am not sure we can count on another 16 game season of Kurt.
