Literally, the only other person it could be is the anonymous source who tipped the writer off in the first place. Because you'd think that Colangelo wouldn't be so stupid as to go private on ALL the accounts the instant someone asks about them, which would obviously only confirm their relation.

But... people do really stupid stuff when they're in panic mode... and you've got to be a lil crazy to make 5 burner accounts to agree with each other in the first place... and if someone spent nearly 2 years using 5 different twitter handles and thousands of tweets and retweets in an effort to frame him... then... hats off to that person, they'd probably make a good GM!

if I read it correctly the original question from the Ringer was about 2 of the 5 accounts, he didn't mention the other 3 that "went dark'. He said he did it intentionally to see what would happen to the other 3 accounts.

I haven't followed BC at all but I find it hard to believe it's NOT him based on that account.

It would be pretty easy, if the tipster was framing him, for him to make all the accounts go dark as soon as he sees Bryan’s real account goes dark. Maybe an ex-girlfriend? Just trying to imagine if there is any way it could not be him.

Apparently three of the accounts were registered with a phone number ending in 91. The one account that BC has admitted is his (and never posted) was registered with a phone number ending in 75. A beat writer for the Sixers is confirming the number he has for BC ends in 75.

Yeah but Hinkie is smart enough to plan that far in advance, I don't think Bryan is. In the end, though, BC is the likely culprit. I just like JC too much to want this mess to land so close to his doorstep.

On the contrary. If he was responsible, I don't think he would double down on denials now. I think we are going to find that TheRinger got rung. This is a long developing hoax. At the very worst its one of Colangelos kids. But it is probably a hoax that was a long time in developing. I lived in Philly. Those guys are nuts.

Embiid has just coming out now saying that he believes the Colangelo is telling the truth on this.

Or daughter or wife. If it was a college age son, then the kid probably told his friends he was doing it. All it would take is for one of those friends to contact the Ringer, and the rest just falls into place.

I have not been living under a rock. Certainly some double down on denials, but in this case, something just doesn't ring true about it. BC would have to be really DUMB because he would have to have told other people about this, I would think. I am just reacting to what I see. I could be wrong of course.
