I find it more amusing that Bryan's wife was defending his huge collared shirts rather than Bryan doing that himself. The idea she knows inside medical info about NBA players but doesn't know her husband orders custom made dress shirts with oversized collars is amusing.
His wife is the reason he wears those collars. She’s Italian and he gets those shirts specially ordered from a store in Italy. He’s said it numerous times that she’s the inspiration for him behind the collar.

P.S.: Just for the record, I cringe every time I see Bryan referred to as BC. Those are my initials and I had them decades before Bryan. :)
Interesting, I always assumed you were just a big fan of his and dedicated your username here to that :p

:thud:

BTW, I just returned from a vacation drive to the Paris Las Vegas hotel and the two Historic Route 66 loops off the I-40. And lunch at my favorite Mexican restaurant in Sedona on the way back.

'No way I can catch up on all of the posts. So if anything overwhelming came up, please let me know. The last I heard was that Deandre Ayton declared that he will be the #1 pick after working out for the Suns..

Well, I pick and choose when and where I can enjoy my Social Security income.

And, yes, I'll be flying to Santa Barbara in a week and half to visit friends (a husband and wife whom I've known since before 1970 and who were instrumental in my choosing the Valley as our new home eight years later).

Then, for awhile, I'll see if I can get by without transferring any money into my checking account.

Retirement -- the pay sucks but the hours are great!

Well, not exactly. It was 100+ in Las Vegas and in the the 90's in northern Arizona. I thought I might need a light jacket in Williams this morning, but it was 80 degrees when I started my trip south.

I was raised on the East coast, where 90 degrees and 90% humidity were the norm during the summer. I'll take the Valley's 110 with 5-10% humidity any time.

Then, during the blizzards of winter, the humidity made it a wet, damp cold that clung to your bones. I've been in the mile high cities of Denver and Albuquerque during the winter and found their cold much easier to take than that of the East Coast or midwest.

During the summer, granted, if you stand out in the sun when it is 115, you're hot. So we don't stand out in the sun when it is 115.

As I used to say, "If the worst time of the year in the Valley means lounging in the pool with a gin & tonic ... versus shoveling a double driveway in the bitter cold ... I'll take it. It is why the plates on my SUV read (phonetically) PARADISE.

We now return you to our regularly scheduled Bryan Colangelo: World Class Idiot thread. :)
