Bryan Cristante discusses importance of win over Lecce: “We have a chance to compete until the end.”
Roma midfielder Bryan Cristante was interviewed by Sky Sport shortly after the final whistle to Roma’s win over Lecce.
“We knew it was going to be tough here, we have always struggled in the last few years and perhaps we have never won,” he said.
“We interpreted the match well, we missed 3-4 easy goals but that’s normal. The important thing was to return home with the three points.”
“We will now have to win the head-to-head games with our direct rivals to move up the table.”
“I don’t know if I would have believed you in November that we would be in this position in March. We’re built an excellent streak and now we have a chance to compete until the end.”
