Why do you care other than the fact that you hate susnfan88?

Is this really worth all the negativity? The fact that Marshall stinks is negative enough.

I care because this is just another thread to spur hatred against Marshall who is merely coming off of his rookie season and there is no reason to just throw him completely under the bus.

I hate this disgusting attitude displayed across all Suns message boards in the last few years whether it was Amare, Lopez, Beasley or Marshall and now starting with Markieff too.

It is absolutely disgraceful and disgusting.

me thinks someone takes basketball a little too seriously if banging on guys like Beasely, Marshall and Kieff is "disgusting and disgraceful." I mean, are we not suppose to bang on guys simply because their Phoenix Suns? If that's the case, your constant banging on Gortat is just as "disgraceful and disgusting."

I dunno, Gortat earned it. Remember when he went on SNL and tore up that picture of the Pope?

no he did not , he took it from someone who made that title on realgm quoting the article on BSOTS.

I am pretty sure the title on BSOTS never was this misleading

I am the someone on real GM...hence why my sig says "formerly known as SF88" on that website.

Like usual, you again fail. It has already been established that the thread title says that BSOTS said that Marshall doesn't think he needs to improve, not Marshall himself.

Marshall has a horrible looking shot. His release is way out in front and to the left, the shot is flat, he takes way to long to wind up. It reminds me of Leandro's, but because he is a lefty, it looks even worse.

I can't speak for others, but I'll quickly explain my comments on this utterly wrong and misleading thread title. The poster has on more than a few occasions made up his own titles for threads based on his interpretation of the content of the article he's posting.

I have pointed this out once or twice in the past that a thread title is not accurate to the content of an article. There is no need to use ones own interpretation to title a thread when the article itself provided a more accurate title.

In this instance the author doesn't say that Marshall doesn't believe he needs to improve. He says, "Marshall is a thinking man, but it still seems like he thinks he just needs to "get by" without those vital skills." Clearly the author is speculating, but he doesn't actually say that Marshall doesn't think he needs to improve and what he does say isn't supported by any quote from Marshall.

So it really doesn't matter whether the title was attributed to Marshall or the articles author, the thread title doesn't accurately describe the article.

Sure I'm nitpicking, but it's something that gets under my skin a bit. No big deal overall, but IMO if you post someone's article or quote from one, than use the original title rather than making up one of your own based on your interpretation.

Can you seriously not read?

Here's a direct quote from that article:
Worst of all, he has always seemed sure that he can succeed without significantly improving in any of those areas.

If you come in here making false accusations, you better damn well have proof before making yourself look an idiot.

LOL! Thanks for making my point silly person. He says he "seems", meaning he gives the author the impression. He never makes any claim that he thinks he needs to improve or not, only that he gives the author that impression.

So once again for the slow, the author doesn't make any direct claim that Marshall believes one way or the other, he only states that Marshall gives the author the impression he doesn't.

You keep getting your panties in a twist though. Your argument is as weak as your thread title.

Saying, You're mad is very different than saying you seem mad. The first is a statement, an accusation, while the second is a question.

The author got the impression that Marshall doesn't think he needs to improve. And that is exactly what the thread title says.

Is that simple enough for you?

Admittedly I just skimmed the article. But the author didn't specifically come out and say that Marshall doesn't think he needs to improve. So IMO this thread title is a little misleading.

In context there isn't a world of difference between "Marshall doesn't think he needs to improve" and "worst of all, he has always seemed sure that he can succeed without significantly improving in any of those areas". The point seems to be appreciably the same or at least close enough to wonder why it's become such a huge issue in this thread. A gentle reprimand might have been warranted but the heavy criticism seems unwarranted IMO.

Like I said, overall it isn't a big deal. It's just been a repeated offense that has been pointed out in the past and yet keeps happening. I'll drop it.

Just listening to Burns and Gambo on the radio. They did say that coaches etc have been saying that Marshall is arrogant, seems to think he is really good, etc. This just seems to fit with what others are saying along with the twitter gaffs.

Looks like Marshall lacks an essential quality for becoming a good pro--teachability.

I would get rid of him in any way possible.
