Ugh, can't stand Mike James. He just pulls up for a bad 3 so early in the shot clock. I'd rather watch Knight and Bledsoe drain the clock and take a long 2 than see James take a long guarded 3 with 18 left on the shot clock.

Maybe the Suns can't make room to keep him. LOL

Short handed teams are often dangerous.
Short handed teams can win but you can’t make any argument that the Bucks without Giannis are more dangerous than with him. So we can’t measure against the Bucks with this game.

Bender is wearing a mask as a precautionary measure.

It sounds like he plans to keep wearing it for the foreseeable future.

Someone could get trashed if they decided to drink every time Mike James leaves a teammate open while he takes a bad shot or looks to score himself. Daniels was open in the corner on his missed drive.

It's hard to measure off one game anyway. Teams try to compensate after losing a star player. Giannis being out is a loss for sure.

Monroe had 10 points and 6 rebounds while he was in there.

4 assists vs 13 turnovers...

Yuck.

The Suns need a PG no doubt.

I guess the question is whether they will make a move to get one. They are already trying to clear a roster spot for James.

Cycle through some Gleague guys or free agents, don't give up anything in trade, not worth it right now.

Interesting note:

Tyler Ulis has the best +- for the Suns so far (+2) this game.

Mike James has the worst (-11).

I don't think it's a coincidence, and I don't think it's because Ulis has been particularly good.

I can’t seem to figure out the why/how chriss and bender can’t contribute. Particularly chriss who showed some last season. I’m beginning to lose hope for those two.

There is not much out there in free agency except perhaps a player like Beno Udrih. The Suns could likely find one in a trade if they wanted to part with a second round pick. Mudiay might be available in a trade but the Nuggets probably want too much.

I'd like to know Bender's thinking in wearing a mask.

Two quick turnovers by the Suns to open the second half.

Maybe they can keep Ronnie Price from filing his retirement paperwork. :sarcasm:

Sadly I think he'd make more sense than he did last year.

I didn't mention Price on purpose for fear the Suns might read my mind. :lmao:

Too bad Chandler couldn't get that lob by Ulis for a basket. Nice pass. Chandler did get fouled.

Bender, at worst, is going to be another Channing Frye. Decent defender, but physically not strong, and great catch and shoot big.
