I don't care what anyone says...to get a 13 means you're just not bright. If you go through it and just half-way try, you're going to get at least a 20. The amount of easy questions on there is simple enough that if you get a 13...you're just not smart at all and lack basic knowledge. Mccoy is known for running a complex offense too with a lot of verbiage, so that doesn't bode well. Is it the end of the world? Hardly. But instead of hiking Camelback mountain to get where you need to be, now you have to hike Mount Everest.

Going by projection...I take Jackson over Mayfield .Mayfield doesn`t have jackson`s arm and Jackson has better escapability.I think Mayfield will be bust because he won`t be throwing against BIG12 Defenses most weeks and i think Mayfiled is close to his ceiling as a QB.

Mayfield shows worlds better throwing ability than Jackson, and it isn't close. Mayfield throws with better accuracy, anticipation, and moves through his progressions faster. Yes, Jackson is a better athlete, but his strengths are all negated by his position. Jackson's weaknesses are all the areas that are the most critical for a QB.

Jackson is as likely to be out of the league in 4 years as be great. He is truly a boom or bust guy. Mayfield may never be better that the 15th best QB in the league, but he looks to be a lock to be a QB in the league in 7 years.

I agree that he is a good kid. That doesn't make him a good NFL QB however. My comp has been since mid November a less polished Marcus Mariota. Good guy. Great athletic skills. Not a natural playmaker from the pocket. Mechanics can vanish at times. Looks like someone who has worked hard to be something they aren't naturally.

I think Jackson can and will improve.I also think Baker Mayfield will bust in the NFL because the stuff that worked in a piss poor defensive conference will not work in the NFL.He won`t be able to escape easily and he doesn`t have a big enough arm to overcome his mistakes.Thats my take .

As i stated earlier........Being from the Louisville area and being a Louisville fan i have never read nor heard or seen anyone or anything saying Jackson was not intelligent or a slow learner etc;.Another fact is that the local news media here are not University of Louisville "Homers".They are actually quite the opposite..jumping on every chance to bring up anything negative concerning UofL .The Editor and Sports editor are Graduates of UofL s main rival U of Kentucky).So its a tough deal getting a fair and even reporting concerning Uofl.And even with all that nothing has ever been written or come knocking Jackson`s intelligence.
Basing your entire opinion on someones intelligence over one test shows a rush to judgement and a lack of ability to judge for yourself.I realize some will not like Jackson for whatever reason or the other.Thats their choice.Thinking he is dumb is a wrong perception IMHO.

I don't know if he is dumb or not but the signs that he may lack some intelligence are clearly there with that score. It could be an anomaly. It could not. But to automatically assume its not based off of what you may or may not have heard in the Louisville circles is a little bit short sighted.

I consider basing your opinion on one test extremely shortsighted.I think we are going to have to agree to disagree because i am basing my opinions on what i have seen and heard over 3 years at Louisville and nothing supports the line of thinking that jackson lacks intelligence.

I actually would be all over him AT 15 or a few spots further down if someone wanted to trade. But don't like the red flag at all. Still worth the risk IMO when your franchise hasn't had young QB in FOREVER

I don`t think SK has the balls to chance a QB RD 1.I think he goes safer route and takes his top rated guy in a area of need CB,WR,OT,DL.
After last years screwup with NKemdiche Cards have to hit with this years #1 and that pick has to come in and make a impact immediately IMHO.
