Maybe Budda is in on the trade speculation...the team knows his value will be highest the closer to the deadline they can make a deal and nobody wants to risk him to serious injury.

I don't believe they want him to push it and so they took away the ability for him to rush back.

That would be my guess as well. We all know that Budda would be out there on one leg if he could.

Spoke with my friend about Budda. Asked why they put him on IR. He indicated that the hamstring injury was not good. Said Budda is a fast healer but this was not a “two week” type of injury. Hence why they put him on IR.
