With a head that big, no need to worry about keeping helmet on. Haha.It appears he needs to let it grow longer, you know, to help keep his helmet on.

Didn't realize they had color photography back then...Didn't we all have long hair when we were younger?.

Yeah, defense was ready. Some sloppy tackling that led to the FGs, but other than that, a good defensive performance.I can’t believe anyone much less several people are saying the “team” played like crap. The D came to play. They held Seattle #1 passing O to 9 points. Impressive again for this rag tag unit of misfits in the road in weather. Even our newly acquired toy was getting close with pressure. Stills looking like a gem of a find in what the 6th round? Gets better every week it seems.
The only part of the team that didn’t hold up their end of the bargain was the Offense. It was all of them too besides maybe Mcrbride and Wilson. The OL sucked as a whole. Totally uncharacteristic. The RBs sucked the QB was off. The play calling! ALL OF IT!
Might be splitting hairs, because we agree the oline was trash. But he shouldn’t get a pass. Unlike usually where he’s using his legs to at least buy time from the rush, yesterday he seemed to keep running (or backing) INTO the rush. He clearly got spooked early and had happy feet the rest of the game. He was frazzled. It’s one game. Wash it out. Hopefully next week we seen something better.I agree with all your takes except it's a little harsh to downgrade Murray's pocket presence for this game when it was basically a jailbreak on on every five and seven step drop back.
But I'm certainly not saying he played well. It might have been (embarrassingly for me after popping off in the debate thread earlier this week) his worst game of the year.
Anyway, I think it was just a bad spot on the schedule, but we'll see.
Also, Ouchie, I know you're super duper busy with work and fam, but if there's any way you could make it to the 12/15 home game, would like to meet my ASFN arch-nemesis in person!
Also, wish I could oblige with the game but don’t think it’s doable with my travel schedule these days. Maybe a playoff game if we get a home one (fingers crossed).I agree with all your takes except it's a little harsh to downgrade Murray's pocket presence for this game when it was basically a jailbreak on on every five and seven step drop back.

Summed it up perfectly.I can’t believe anyone much less several people are saying the “team” played like crap. The D came to play. They held Seattle #1 passing O to 9 points. Impressive again for this rag tag unit of misfits in the road in weather. Even our newly acquired toy was getting close with pressure. Stills looking like a gem of a find in what the 6th round? I see it the opposite. It's impossible to evaluate the players because dp totally failed in the game planning. Our defense was definitely okay. This obviously wasn't like the GB or WAS games. Much more like the BUF and DET games.
SEA's defense played like their mom's lives depended on winning this game, and they knocked around our offense pretty good. Conner ineffective. Murray contained. And the offensive line was mauled. Badly.
I think it's impossible to really evaluate DP's performance today because the players did not execute.
And he dropped an easy Tuddy as wellHe’s been pretty open in the endzone a few times this season and murray has just missed him. It’ll come. Dude is a stud.
Dude, what?!? Surely you’re not suggesting this team is not accustomed to playing out of shotgun, right?I see it the opposite. It's impossible to evaluate the players because dp totally failed in the game planning.
We are an in the box rushing offense with a complimentary passing attack field by play action.
Drew had us come out slinging the ball in shotgun...in which the run game is less effective and play action is non existent.
Players are that hesitant and confused when they are asked to run plays and blocking schemes they have not run often enough to have refined.
IMO... Drew outsmarted himself. Those ******* reporters started asking him about whether he feared showing Seattle too much in this game since we had to play them again so soon...and he bit on it and drew up a gameplan totally outside the bounds of Cardinals football.
Go back and watch the first two drives of our last few games...not only did we script different plays against Seattle we scripted an entirely different style of football.
Our oline didn't get dominated so much as they were schemes out of the game by their own OC.
Betch when we face the hags next week we come out under center running between the tackles...or off tackle...but no sweeps...and PA passing will be in full effect
