So, as a basic rule, you lay off American beers, then?

There are a lot of good American Micros out there like Four Peaks with their outstanding Kiltlifter brand.

If I am drinking an American major brand beer, I like Amberbock.

I didn't see this posted, nor did I know if anyone would care, but according to a mini blurb on Channel 12 news during a Today show commercial, they said the Cardinals had reached an agreement with Budweiser to be the official beer sold inside the stadium, as well as the south endzone being the "red zone."

Anyone else heard something of this?

American major name beers suck.

I'm glad that at least I get good beer here since I can't watch football/espn regularly, everything is closed on Sundays, people smell worse than the states, I rarely see the sun, and the overall etiquette of Germans leaves much to be desired.

DunkelWeizens and Doppelbocks are absolutely the best beers the Germans put out. I'm not a real big fan of the Hefeweizens....I actually prefer American crafted wheat beers. Not a big fan of Pilsners on a whole.

Behind Belgian Brown Ales......Dunkelweizens and doppelbocks are my favorite styels.
