I sound like a broken record every time the Suns play a tough defensive-minded team. You cannot rely on jump-shot and running. You have to be able to score in half-court when the game slows down.

Agreed... Kief should be one of our guys to do that... Plum and Len the others. Goran can score from anywhere but we need way better flow when in the 1/2 court.
Kief just isn't consistent enough, and Plum and Len have a ton of maturing to do. Of course, not having Bledsoe hurts in the half court as well...

Good thing we have those "stretch 4s". We wouldn't want to have a low-post scorer since that "spacing" is so important.

I'm with you 100% man. You and me are the only Suns fans who realize that it's more important and better to have low post scorer than a 3pt chucker at every possible position.

The argument that Dragic and Bledsoe would be ineffective when there aren't shooters all around them is such bogus crap.

It will be more evident in the playoffs when the game slows down.

Memphis is now just 2 games behind PHX.

Bledsoe hopefully will come back right after the AS break.

The Bulls, even this diminished version of them, have taken plenty of top teams outside of their game plan. We're on a 5 game win streak, facing a supposedly weak team, Bulls come in pissed off, Noah especially, after what they felt was a screw job last night in Sacramento. I will chalk this up to a trap game... bad matchup, whatever. I wouldnt sweat it.

These same Bulls beat the Spurs by 10 in San Antonio last week and slaughtered Miami by 20 earlier this year.

Exactly. Just 1 of 82 games. Nothing to see here.

....................FG-A 3PM-A FG% 3PM%
Channing Frye 6-16 2-11 0.375 0.18
Gerald Green 2-13 1-5 0.15 0.2
Markieff Morris 4-13 1-4 0.3 0.25
Goran Dragic 9-15 2-4 0.6 0.5

I am surprised actually the difference was only 9 points :D
If Frye would have his regular 0.4 3PM% it would be only 3 ...

If the Suns cannot run their offense, their whole game suffers. The Suns are a team without confidence at the moment.

Which is exactly why the Suns need a legitimate half-court option. (Gasol.)

I'm sure his price went up a little after this game.

The goal should be to have both.

Take away the spacing and the Suns offense falls apart. I don't understand how people can't see that the entire system is based on proper spacing and 3pt shooters.

The problem? They have no legitimate half court option if the shots aren't falling. Which is why pairing someone like Gasol WITH Frye, Morris, etc, is exactly what they need.

Plumlee is a great hustle guy, but until he develops a halfway reliable mid-range shot he's never going to elevate his game to the next level. Len is a long-term project. If the Suns want to win now they shouldn't be relying on either. Especially in the playoffs.

I'm not high on the Suns making the playoffs this season and I'm not high on Gasol being the answer either, especially at the cost of a good draft pick. Okafor and the Minnesota pick or Indiana pick is the best I would offer and then I would vomit a little.

The Chicago Bulls, "Where Ugly Happens."

Seriously!!! I thought we might go 3-3 on thie trip, but more likley 2-4 with wins against the Kings and Lakers and maybe the Hornets. Instead, we get blown out by the Hornets and Kings, but beat you guys and the Spurs. Which means we beat the Warriors and Steven Nash busts out 40 points and 25 assists and we loss by 30.

I'm just so glad I don't have to watch 82 games of Bulls basketball. Talk about ugly.

It is at its worst when Kirk Hinrich is driving tot he hoop with 3 second left on the shot clock and no one did anything to get open.

Can't win 'em all! After the terrible start, we stayed even and cut it down to 4 on a couple of occasions. The Bulls hit big shots when they needed to. It happens sometimes. Next!
