Someone who lives close to Glendale go sprinkle some magic dust on the training facility to take whatever curse that Butler brought onto this team and absolve us all.

All it took was 13+ weeks of ineptitude, a 5th rounder, and getting out of playoff contention for this to happen... Is it weird that this is the most excited I've been in quite a while?

Training facilities are in Tempe btw.

I really liked Scooby Wright when he played for the UofA. I haven't followed him much since. IMO, a good signing as I was hoping the Cardinals would draft him.

The Cardinals released the 27-year-old punter on Tuesday, ending his tenure with the Arizona Cardinals after three seasons. He's come under fire for the length of his punts this season, ranking 35th in both yards per punt (42.2) and net yards per punt (35.6), but coach Bruce Arians had enough faith in Butler to stand behind him, even bringing him back after a six-week hiatus due to injury -- until Tuesday.

HAHAHAHAHA...I love this...There are only 32 teams...and he ranked 35th in punting. What a freaking joke!

Guessing Dysert will be active and hold

Or

BA figured that given who is playing o line, the Cards will need three QBs

Other news, Bucanon, Branch and someone else have been put on IR so they are done for the year, this team is calling the season now, maybe trying to improve draft stock and keep players healthy for next year. Also, I heard Matthieu is considering surgery that will end his year as well.

Ha, I thought the same thing---Dysert to hold.

However, it looks like the Cardinals activated him because the Dolphins wanted to sign him off the PS, now that Tannehill is out for a while.

I've never been so excited to watch someone punt in a game! Can't wait for our first one! Sure we won't have to wait long.

TOO LITTLE TOO LATE

Exactly. These are the things that drive me crazy with coaches. I know we all play arm chair coach/GM and sometimes posters on this board are prone to overreact. But in this case it's ridiculous that it took a wasted season for the team to finally cut bait with this guy. Most of the fans on this board are very knowledgeable and many were clamoring to can this guy for several years now. How does it take a coach or front office this long to realize he sucks. This can be said for several other players and coaches.
