Last night Schulte said the official BOB name change comes Sept 23rd or 24th - I did not hear what the new name was, he just said it followed the merger of Chase and BankOne (buyout, actually). Anyone know more detail? I liked 'BOB' - unfortunate that it'll have to go.

I'm actually pretty bummed that they're changing the name. BOB is just so catchy. I guess it's gonna be like "Squaw Peek" mountain. To many, it will always be Squaw Peek, same as, BOB will always be BOB to many of us.

Sorry, CQ, but I'm one of those people who believe that if the term "squaw" is offensive to Native Americans (it refers to part of the female anatomy), move on.

OMG, so let me make sure I am understanding this correctly. Because I used the example of another place in Arizona that was re-named that many who have lived here for a long time still refer to it as the old name, purely making a comparison to what's going on with BOB, not AT ALL getting into the politics of it (that's for another forum), you freaked out.
