It sucks being on a bye week and not seeing the Cards play. Its good that they get to rest for the week and Palmer will possibly start next week due to the rest, but it becomes a boring Sunday(besides checking FF stats) when they aren't playing.

I like the bye week. A chance to relax and enjoy football without worrying about the Cards. Even when they're as good as they are, angst is ingrained in me from watching them for 40 plus years.

That statement speaks for the entire board , or maybe the word entire is a little strong !!!

I used to look forward to the bye week, now I don't

Remember all the jokes about how hard "bye" would play us, lol?

With all our injuries we have it's good timing

Yep, boring week. It's especially bad when both of our local football teams take the week off. At least one of them had a bye.

I don't mind bye weeks per se, but a bye in week three is pretty useless.

Bye weeks should be in weeks 8-10.

Hate the bye week. But does give me more time to watch other teams and compare them to ours. I'm so worked up during games, every mistake seems magnified. Today made me realize we stack up well compared to many, many other teams.

Few stats I saw today: Our opponents are 6-0 after playing us this year. The only two undefeated teams remaining have ties to Carson Palmer. Opponent QB completion % against us is 57%.

Great article up on AZ central about Michael Bidwill and the franchise:

No problem with the bye week as long as we win heading into it. It never used to be the case.

I'm just so grateful that my wife picked this past weekend to get away for a long one.

Now that we're home, I've now turned on the TV to see the Cowboys-Saints debacle.

I am with you. I was supposed to go somewhere this weekend and got out of it. I had to watch my 2 yr old today, but was able to sit and watch football all day and put her in front of the other TV with cartoons. Had no wife and other kids wanting me to go do stuff. Sounds like a bad parent/husband but it's nice to hang at home all day. Especially on a Sunday. Next week I'll be in Denver watching the cards get to 4-0. :)

I know right? I watched the cards on NFL rewind against the giants yesterday morning, and I was nervous as hell watching that. Whew we won again...I was scared...:D
