He is NOT a hero. He has reaped the benefits of being placed on the same line with the Hawks 2 best offensive threats in Kane and Toews. He stations himself in front of the net and knocks in the rebounds given up by the goalie from slapshots from Kane and Toews.

Before they switched him to the Hawks number one line his regular season goal total was 17 splitting time as a defenseman and a winger. I will give him credit though since he is very strong and hard to move away from in front of the net. Kane and Toews are the 2 guys that make the Hawks a very serious threat to take the Cup this year.
