Just watched it. Overrated IMO.

Ted Knight was fantastic. BM was a bm. Chevy Chase hasnt been funny outside Clark Griswold.

You have to remember that most people who are over 30 didn't wait till 2007 to see this. Most of us saw this when comedy movies hadn't existed yet. Funny to people at this time was the Musters or Gomer Pile re-runs. Slap stick was a new thing and this movie embodied it perfectly. This movie enspired an entire generation of comedies and funny people.

Your expectations were too great, you have seen funnier movies, but this was the start of a movement with other movies that came out around the same time.

It's a cross between a Kentucky Blue Grass and California Sensemilla(sp?). You can play 18 holes on it and then get stoned to the be-jesus!!
