I'm back in Phx and have nearly 400 photos so I hope you will forgive me it it takes a day or so to review/edit/post them.

I think I may have some interesting images of RB drills to post but I won't know until I look at the files.

I also learnt that taking a Sharpei to camp is fine, staying in a hotel room is not. Brighteyes likened it George to the "Hound of the Baskervilles" re:Sherlock Holmes. It was a nightmare, as he spent the night defending his room, over and over again.

Not recovered yet but I'll work on the phosts tomorrow. Note: I realy like Wendal Bryant. Not only is he a nice and very outgoing type (ie no attitude) he also likes dogs, most specificly he likes George. As does Mac and Damien Anderson but I think McAddley is not a dog person, but I'll leave that storey to my more eloquent wife.

If possible, could you help provide context, by accompanying each photo with a caption explaining what's going on and who's in the photo? (I know it's a pain in the butt, but it really does make each photo come to life that way).

I'll do my best, but I'm going to spend most of my time working on the RB drills sequence.

I have a lot of good shots of this and there appears to be some interesting comparisons in style and technique. I say appears to be as I have not had time to review it in depth.

I do have alot of full/partial squad drills but unless I find a significant theme, I'll bulk (zipped) post these so people can D/L them.

Having said that here comes my first set.

Royalty mingles with the crowd

Understand, when I say "Royalty", I'm not being sarcastic. I am developing and increasing respect for Emmit and his attitude to football (more in my RB drill photos)

In this case it is a sign of respect.

OL Drills or Big Men with Pads

Here a number of images of OL guys notice the shot of #68 (I think) with his arms behind him.

To me this looks like terrible technique, he has thrown his arms back to get his body moving, bad, real bad. All this does is to waste some of your momentum in the wrong direction. (Image ol9)

Everything should be going forward.

I did get to a little time to talk with Mike Devlin and so far everything he told me he looks for in an OL guy, is the same as I look for in karate (but more on that later)

Look at his body position here. This appears to be a classic mistake. Throwing the arms back give you the "feeling" that it gets you moving forward. All it actually does is get 15% of your mass going in the wrong direction, you then lose that forward momentum as you bring your hand forward.

Basic physics "Conservation of Momentum"

It also telegraphs what you are doing and puts you a foot or 2 (length of your arms) further from your target before he sees you move. Everything should go forwrd.

Was I the only one looking in the background on those last two pictures for the Davis vs. KVB fight? :)
