The right side of our O-Line is so bad its not even funny. Nexy year I hope to God we get Marcus McNeil and insert him at RT. Anything would be better than Ross; I do feel however that Brown will develop into a very good player.

I WANT Warner

to succeed but my son and I commented on exactly the same thing. Not just this game, but last also, he floats the ball. Well, he has been. When he hits his guy in stride it's pretty. Otherwise, he has no touch. How many passes were tipped or knocked down, when he had someone open in the flats.
C'mon you guys.
JJ isn't ready yet. They need Hodgins to get him his one decent run.
Femi can't block worth a gnats ass.
Warner went to Femi four in a row and NEVER looked downfield.
It's a bit scary right now.
Soemone go back and look at BJ's drops. Those passes didn't ALL look right on the money either.
I know the O line sucks, I know ST's killed us, but if nothing else, pass block you assses off and hit the right receiver.

"..And in this corner.."

JSTADVL;
You are fookin'A right, I think!
I just think that DG gave up on the run way too early.. Shipp should've gotten more carries to get into a rythmn. 1-2 long drives to break up the special teams gaffes may not have changed the outcome, but I remember that Shipp usually became more effective the longer the game progressed, maybe not today anyway.. Of Course, If I was DG, or if he proves true to form, he will fire the Special Teams coach, release Dansby-Then Rehire Dansby as the new Special Teams coach. :biglaugh:

The Cardinal Bandwagon only got pulled over by one of NYPD's men in blue today, the ticket has no points attached, so LET'S GO CARDINALS!!!
Playoffs 2005!!!

Well, Boldin was the guy talking up Shaun King last offseason. So, what does than mean?

Wasn't Dennis Green talking up King too??

It sure didn't look that way when he pancaked Michael Strahan on the chip block, but whatever...

Let's also consider the matchup before we freak out. Not only were the Giants familiar with Warner from last season, they knew he had a similar O-line weakness, and knew how he'd likely respond. Then once the running game broke down, they knew he'd be passing nearly every down.

Warner played decently in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. Even after being sacked twice toward the end of the 2nd quarter, he was still accurate on the 2nd series of the 3rd quarter ending with the pass to Fitz in the end zone. Up to that point the momentum was clearly with the Cards.
Right after that, the 95 yard return by the Giants changed the momentum and the Cards fell apart. Darling's injury (rt knee) and Berrry's sprain (looked like back) added to the loss of momentum. Then the long TD pass to Burress at the beginning of the 4th put us into deep shock. It looked as if Warner was running out of gas during the 4th, with absolutely no running game and too much dependance on Warner. The return TD by N.Y. just totally depressed me. Special teams looked like high school - needs to be retooled somehow!!
We need a big win against the Rams to change the tide!!

Femi

helped the Tackle on that one K. He didn't do that alone, but came in form an angle.

I'm sorry, but today's game was absolutely not Warner's fault. The inability to run the ball doomed the Cards...and it will only get worse until the OLine steps up. Once AZ can run the ball effectively, the recievers won't always be blanketed downfield and Warner will be able to complete more than dumpoff passes.

Agree! The number one reason we could not win this game was our inability to run the ball. If you have no threat of a run then your passing game will suffer. We should have solved our center problem with a FA early in the season. It was a know problem. Of course there are other problem especially with our Special Teams defense.

No kidding, dvl. That's what a "chip block" is. But it kind of refutes your thesis that he "can't block worth a gnat's ass," since he pancaked Strahan, and all...

Don't be that way,

on His own, he can't block! Don't quote "chip block" to an old schooler, it doesn't bode well for you. He didn't pancake anyone! He helped pancake someone, when that someone wasn't going anywhere anyway! Where else did he block anything? Goal line? Nope. Where else? C'mon smart ass. Where else? "Chip block" equates to cheap shot, on someone who's already being held up. "Chip block" on your own is a quick shot prior to moving out into the flat for a screen or pass play. Which, by the way, didn't bode well for Femi yesterday either.
Now, keep running your mouth. The only thing you have correcty stated, so far is. Warner didn't look good yesterday. the rest of your "lip flappin" mumbo jumbo isn't flying.
