The sports world doesn't need another Stephen A. Smith. This guy (who said he would boycott the Superbowl if the Cards are in it) annoys everyone fon the set (particularly Mariucci) and the viewers.

What can we do to send a message about this jerk?

Kind of surprised NFL Network would be ok with him saying that. He is an ass and a Cowboy for that matter so I don't even pay attention to him.

Deion isn't going anywhere. It speaks volumes to what our country is becoming that the younger generations enjoy the Deion/Steven A Smith types. Why speak intelligently and make sense when you can make up for it by being really loud, obnoxious, having horrible grammar and being a blatent racist because you know you can.

The guy was the best cover corner in NFL history, but was a ***** on the field and a moron off of it. Hell, Ray Lewis kicked him off the Ravens because he wouldn't hit. Appears as though not much has changed. All talk, no substance.

Stupid is the new smart, you didn't know?.

He needs to keep saying it. Louder Deion, tell us what you think of the Cardinals. Tell the players. Better yet, write it down so they can study your words throughout the week.

It is a bit annoying, and didn't DRC spend alot of time with him helping him with his coverage skills in the offseason?

Be kinda strange to root AGAINST your pupil.

Maybe he means it, but I have a feeling that we are hearing so many haterade from the media (this week), like it's their job to motivate us.

They see we're playing the media card, and they'll oblige us.

I just wouldn't be surprised if Deion wants us to go, but is going to say otherwise.

With that said, someone needs to get a copy of what Deion said and find a way to tape that thing to DRC's locker.

Sanders or not Sanders doesnt matter, NFL Network is 100 times the network that ESPN is. ESPN could take HGH and Steriods for 5 years and still not be as good as NFL Network.

The only time I watch ESPN is if there is a game on. Other then that everything else is all about the NFL network including Draft Coverage.

In some ways I want to agree with this. I mean the Cardinals have been saying the media is pissing them off. Yet they keep coming with the negative material!!! You wonder if they (media) isn't trying to fuel the Cardinals into the SB!!!

Deion is still an asshat!!!

I love it when Deon talks dirty...

Keep it up; make the 800 lb chip on the team's shoulder grow even bigger.

Goes to show you - Just because a guy can run fast and play phenominal CB back in the day does not make him a rocket scientist.

Cardsmd GREAT signature. We saw that during the game there were 20 of us in my living room and when that happened we all just looked at each other and burst out laughing!!

Wow!

Thank goodness I re-read that.

I thought it read that he told the people out in TV land to boycott the Superbowl.

If Deion is stating that he, and only he would boycott the Superbowl then that is fine.

An idiot pouting in the corner because his Cowboys suck is fine with me.

Heck, I would boycott the Superbowl if the Cowpukes were in it. Why would I want to watch a bunch of criminals be given a bunch of calls by the refs and steal another ring.

F' Deion. He is a punk loser, and I love to kick his 205 arse.

Thanks guys, i'm a long time lurker and even longer fan, family has had tickets since 89. Anyone remember the original WildCards dancing atop Sun Devil Stadium?

Deion isn't half bad, like Peter King said in MMQB on 1/5, at least he is backing up his opinions with valid arguments. Regardless I still hate him and any other cowboy not named Emmitt.

Love the NFL network tho, hate their game coverage. If anyone saw the Warren Sapp piece on Ray Lewis before yesterdays game, that was fun to watch.

Regardless this type of on-air personality didn't start with Stephen A. Smith or even Barkley, it started with Jim Rome, thank the higher power by not placing his mug everywhere. He definitely is the Mel Kipper of lame so called sports broadcasting.

Who would you like to hear more on NFL TV? Sanders or Rome or Kornheiser - Sanders hands down

Rome is giving some love to the Cardinals today. He is a front runner.

Yeah, I take Deion.

I'm no Deion fan but I'd take him over Warren Sapp. Deion relies on his impression of things sometimes but is usually pretty accurate(if you can get past all of the b.s. and posturing). Sapp is just hot air and if I never have his "Dancing with the Stars" clips jammed down my throat again I'll be a much happier sports fan.

Maybe Deion is actually a closet Cards fan and is assisiting them with motivation and locker room material :)

Haven't watched (or listened) to alot of Rome lately, but I do remember him giving us props either right before the season or after we got a couple of wins.

If memory serves correct he said something to the effect (rough quote) 'We've heard it for years now, but this year might finally be your year cards fans'

Not trying to defend Rome, but at least he was checking out the bandwagon in the store a few months ago.

What I hate even more about Rome is that stupid goatee. He looks like he's on Survivor with that damn scraggly ass thing. Someone needs to show him how to trim it around his top lip already. I wonder how many hairs he consumes a day.
