Sometimes I put my head down and just start typing and never look up. Before you know it I have written a whole paragraph or more before I realize that CAPS LOCK was on and I have typed the whole think in caps.

Is there a way to switch them back to lower case without retyping the whole fricken paragraph? Anyone?

That is a good question, I have never thought about it, I am curious to find out as well, just in case.

If you have Microsoft Word, you can copy the text, paste it in word, highlight the paragraph, go to the format menu and select "change case". Then paste it back.

If you don't have Word, I can't think of anything else off the top of my head.

There are several ways to do this in excel as well, its helpful if someone has data come in that has everything in caps. its something like =proper(a1) where a1 is the target cell.

So basically Im screwed when this happens. It mostly happens on the message board. Seems like it would just be quicker to retype it then.

Thanks Bob.

How the HECK do you just look down and not look up until you're done?

How do you know if you've made a mistake? You go back and check it all at once?

Man...I can't even imagine doing that :)

I Typed This All In Capital Letters.

I Think There Is A Default To Keep It From Posting All In Capital Letters.

I Will Try This As A Test.

Pretty Awesome, It Makes Each Word Capped But Not The Whole Word.. Pretty Neat, What Happens If You Type In And Shift On The Letters That You Normally Would, Such As I And The Beginnings Of Sentences..??

I think your problem is that you're so used to typing in license plates...which are made up of all CAPITAL letters. :D

Maybe not. I found a vb script that I pasted into a web page that will do the basics. Will only capitalize the next sentence if it preceded by ". " and cant cross paragraphs, but it seems to work pretty well.

Convert text to mixed caps

Copy your caps post and paste it in there and copy back the result.

Yes, and the software does have "shouting prevention", but it kinda sucks since every word is capitalized.
