When we talk about the best Cardinal QB’s of all-time, we forget to mention Charlie Johnson. He was very good! I didn’t start following the NFL until 64, so I don’t remember this game.

Very impressive for a straight on kicker. Bakken was a great kicker, but didn’t have a big leg. That no doubt had to be the longest of his career. Must have had a strong gust behind him

Remember that play well & the fights that ensued were intense. In today’s NFL, the fat slob would be out for the season. Since that play, I’ve never been a fan of the Bears.

That was actually the 1968 season when they went 9-4-1 and missed the playoffs as the Browns were 10-4.
