So looked over the list of UDFA we brought in and none impressed me that much. Is there anyone still out there that we should look into? Some of whom I wish we would sign are;

Adrian Hubbard OLB Alabama
Deandre Coleman DT California
Anthony Johnson DT LSU
Marcus Roberson DB Florida

While I respect this team since they have brought in some decent prospects in the past, our UDFA are paramount this year, especially since our Dehense has the potential to get torched this year. If any of the four listed have been signed my apologies.

I believe all of these guys were picked up by other teams. There are 31 other teams that gobbled up UDFA's, as well. :)

I think a team that won 10 games last year and improved in almost every area except ILB deserves a little more credit than that. If an undrafted player makes this team and has a significant impact that would be great but in no way is it paramount . JMO

I do think the situation opens up a huge oppurtunity for guys like Glenn Carson, Jonathan Brown, and even a guy like Adrian Tracy.

Paramount???

This is 2014 not 1994.

Best UDFA of the last 10 years? Of course it's a former Longhorn.

6.25 years as a starter on our oline and won't even come out of a game when he's bleeding profusely. Lyle Sendlein. Cardinal tough.

how will we go from one of the league's best to getting to getting torched by downgrading at only 2 spots, both ILBs? Those 2 will hurt, but Minter was taken specifically for 1 of those spots last year and groomed a full year. Then we seriously upgraded at #2 CB and SS and we got 3 OLBs back. Plus 8 starters now have had a full year to learn the playbook. I think our D will be much better than the DWASH panic seems

If you look closer, we are actually solid at LB this year. Losing those guys hurt, no mistake, but they were accounted for best as possible.

Alexander, Acho, Abraham, Okafor, Minter, Foote, Sims, Martin, Shaunessey, etc.......

bad asses one and all.

solid, yes. But we had the best ILB tandem in the league last year. Solid is still a downgrade. But I still think we'll do just fine

As to the original poster's premise, I think that we've signed all the UDFA's we're going to sign, and the one that will end up mattering this time around is Anthony Steen.

I hope so. I'd love for either he or Watford to be our RG of the future

Steen has the injury to recover from, but he has the unique strength and experience of being a member of the best offensive line in college football history.

Alabama's 2012 O Line was ridiculous:

Cyrus Kouandjio - Chance Warmack - Barrett Jones - Anthony Steen - DJ Fluker

Most NFL teams would take that line right now.

In college, I'd say that Steen was the weak link in that group. Let's see what happens in the NFL.
