It says we play 5 teams that went to the playoffs in 2010.. But Im only gonna count three since two of those games are against the Seahawks..

Home games against Pitt, Giants and Cowboys.

Oh joy, I can feel the opposing fans' presence already.

Another home game against the Cowboys ?

Wow. Too much of that, it is too hard on the system.

5 or 6 wins tops!

Maybe 4-12.

We're not going to do much better than 6 wins even if things go very well, if they go bad we could be the Panthers of 2011.

3-3 in the division
Beat the Browns, Panthers, Redskins.
Steal a game somewhere else, like the Vikings.

If we would've matched our division record of 4-2 in 2009 this past season we would've won the division outright. I think it will be the same thing next year. Fans tend to focus on all of those nondivision opponents, but it's the division games that will make or break the season. Going forward, it's a huge concern that we got our asses handed to us in all 5 division games we lost this season.

That's weird, we hosted Pittsburgh the last time we played them. I thought that would be a road game.

I predict an 18 game schedule. I'm guessing they drop playing the two opposite 4th place teams (Carolina and Minnesota), and we play another entire division. Since we played the South last year, I'm guessing it's the North. So add Home Chicago, at Detroit, at Green Bay, Home Minnesota and drop Home Carolina and at Minnesota.

This schedule makes a lot of sense, as every team in the division would play the same sked (except for location - home vs. away)

AZ has the easiest schedule in the league.
We did last year and look where that got us.

I'll reserve my prediction until after we know who the QB is going to be. That will likely be the difference in at least 2-3 games.

Putting together a schedule for the entire league is a rather complicated process. You have the Giants and Jets sharing a stadium; 9ers, Raiders and Dolphins all share their stadium with MLB; a lot of other stadiums have other events to work in; TV networks need to be appeased etc.

I forget when they usually announce the actual schedule (dates and times) but if the CBA isn't completed by that time I would doubt they go with an 18 game schedule this year.

IIRC the owners don't need approval for an 18 schedule from the players. Even if true I doubt they throw gas on the fire and go forward with this without the CBA being completed.

This could be a good thing because it gives the owners etc. incentive to get the CBA in place asap.
