Dude's huge 24/7. I saw him up-close at camp.

Dude is HUGE. Like I-hope-to-never-sit-next-to-him-in-Coach, huge.

Not to worry, that seat is reserved for me. I always get to sit next to the passenger who really should have ordered multiple seats. He looks and plays big on the field, I just wish he played more often.

Well we have heard Dockett make similar comments in the past that the scheme doesn't always maximize his talent but what he is doing helps others make plays.

could be. Wilson will always be more likely to be sent up. He's bigger, stronger and more violent. And that's not a slight against Rhodes, who has shown he's more than capable of getting after the ball behind the LOS and putting a big hit on em. A-Dub is just the best S in the league at it. Plus I think Rhodes is better in coverage

As much as I like Mitch, I have to agree with this.

If you can't handle the criticism of some, you should not expose yourself by writing so much material in your posts. Not everyone is going to agree with you. Some will systematically break down your posts in a tactful manner, others will directly attack you.

Think about it. Well-known journalists like Jason Whitlock, Stephen A. Smith, and Skip Bayless make millions off people who hate them so much, but the common trait amongst these opinionated journalists is instead of letting their detractors bother them personally, the take the opposition's vitriolic attacks as fuel to write more controversial, polarizing articles. Since you are the ASFN de facto opinionated columnist, and have been since I can remember, you should be used to this by now.

Clearly, you'll be missed when/if you decide to leave, but if you choose to post on other message boards, the contrarians will always follow. So you can choose to accept that people will not agree with you all of the time while sometimes being less than fruitful, or you can continue to let it bother you personally. For your sake, I hope you choose the former.

I have a football comment.

It seemed to me that Rhodes took over Adrian Wilson's role as the wildcard blitzer. I know rich has been critical of Rhodes in the past. Maybe the issue isn't Rhodes desire but the role he is playing in the defense?

More the reason for Rhodes imitation of A-dub in game 3 vs. Philly is that Rhodes was actually playing the Strong Safety position, i.e - Wilson's normal role, while Sanders and Johnson took Rhodes normal position at Free Safety.

What great person in history has not had to overcome naysayers and personal attacks?

It doesn't make it right but it comes with the territory.

What impresses me most about Mitch is that he never ever stoops to the level of those attacking him, myself included at times.

That's a lesson that your students can learn from and in fact should elevate you even higher in their regards to you as a human being.

Don't back down or avoid the difficulties that life will inevitably throw at you.

What I want to see is how Horton now schemes with his dynamic safety duo. Which one of these maniacs is gonna come screeming in on a blitz? Who will be dropping into the box while the other falls back into coverage?

I think Adub gets a bad rap for his coverage ability. Not saying he's Ed Reed but the dude has gotten soooooooo much better since Horton has come aboard.
