Niners are in a tough spot. Unlikely to make the playoffs this season. Invested heavily to pick Trey Lance who is clearly not ready or worth 2 1st and a 3rd.

Maybe pundits will stop talking up the Niners and Sham-ahan now?
Did you know the Niners have not won at home since Week 6 of 2020? Yet still pundits go on about them like they are SB contenders or talk about Shanahans scheme like it's the holy grail.
The Niners had 39 rushing yards (big shout out to the D for some great work there). They average 23 points per game. They averaged 23 points a game last year too. They were 22 points a game in 2018 and 21 points a game in 2017.
Of all Sham-ahans seasons in SF only in 2019 did he have an above average offense with 29 points per game. One season in five. And he's only ever good on the back of a great defense. Without a good D coordinator he's garbage.

Watching ESPN (Get Up!) this morning. Big chunk of time on the Cowboys, even longer time drooling over the Browns. The Cardinals? Almost nil. Not surprising.
