My first advice to you would be to stop watching ESPN all together. Their agenda is almost always suspicious.
I watch Get Up! while I drink my morning coffee occasionally and NFL Live sometimes in the afternoon. The rest? Don't watch any other of their programs (can't stand Stephen A.). Thanks for your advice but I'll watch what I want

I don't take too seriously talking heads or a networks "agenda" (whatever that means) in sports or any other news media. I was basically just being tongue in cheek about a sentiment that pops on the board occasionally about being out of the limelight is a good thing :)

Yea yea yea yadda yadda - the more they talk about how the 49ers sucked, the less credit cards get. I don’t think niners sucked that bad, Jimmy G had a lot of yards, as our D stopped the run. I mean, the Titans, rams, Cleveland don’t suck, unless it’s against the cards. packers never got lucky, they imposed their game plan on us, we would have been lucky to win in the end. We corrected it with more balance early with colt McCoy, let’s do the same for Kyler, the oline and the defense!

I wish there was some penalty, accountability for full of crap media sources, bad picks, but there is not, poor Sanchez can go on and on about basketball references during a football game, but fox gave him a contract. It’s the popular people thing. join nfln and you will get in the hall of fame, over more qualified candidates. But none of them or the whole bunch will ever hold a candle to Pat Tillman.
my kid beat up your honor student, pull over and change the air in your head. Haha

Colt MyCoy is a good QB. He has a nice arm. That 40 yarder to Kirk was perfectly thrown in stride over his shoulder. Couldn't have been better.

Really please for him and a good lesson that players on garbage teams aren't always garbage players.

The offensive line is not getting enough credit. You don't run like that without holes. They are creating the holes and the backs are making the most of them. The running game is feeding the passing game. It all starts with the O-line.

Also. IMO a healthy Colt is better than an injured Kyle. Not playing Kyle until healthy is about winning right now.

Agreed. It's actually amazing how well the backups have played. Harlow has come out of nowhere, Garcia has played really well.

Kuegler is our coaching MVP.

I loved Kingsbury's comment in the presser on how he was certain he'd come in and fill a mentor role and good leader for the team and Kyler and Colt cut him off and reinforced that he can still play. No better crow to eat as a coach.

I try to catch part of Total Access. Willy McGinest and Michael Robinson are pretty good together. The rest of their stuff is unwatchable imo, their pregame shows are ghastly. I really like Baldy but he's not on much anymore.

Harlow can't pass block and was bad at C but he was really good run blocking yesterday at LG after Pugh went out.

There's a FB thread about how mad Shanahan was at the roughing call on armstead. A bunch of 49er fans arguing it wasnt' a facemask(it wasn't) and was a bad call. I pointed out they announced it wrong, he didn't grab the helmet hole but it was a forearm to the head. "no it wasn't homer". Here's the replay of it from the very article you're responding to. "Ok but that's not a penalty he didn't grab the helmet he just hit it with his forearm." That's a penalty you can't hit the QB in the head.

Finally one 49er fan jumped in and said first off quit whining they kicked our butts without 5 offensive starters after Edmonds and Pugh went down. Secondly, when did you people start watching football you CANNOT hit the QB in the head, The first time we played them you guys were all claiming it should have been a penalty when Trey got hit at the goalline in the head because you didn't know that rule goes away once the QB becomes a runner, now you have forgotten about it?

I like to find that there are fans who can put the fandom aside and admit. What they announced was wrong, he didn't grab the hole, but he hit him in the head with his forearm, they called that exact penalty in the Sunday night game and nobody argued.

Yes it led to a TD so 14-0 instead of 7-0 but it wasn't a bad call he hit Colt in the head.

Felt like watching an ASU game, where the Cards were the ASU opponent.

It's nice to be the disciplined team not shooting ourselves in the foot!

I was one that said Colt can't throw long

But he put that pass on a dime.

It was beautifully thrown

Watching ESPN (Get Up!) this morning. Big chunk of time on the Cowboys, even longer time drooling over the Browns. The Cardinals? Almost nil. Not surprising.

I like it. Keep sleeping on the Cards ESPN, keep sleeping.

Same on GMFB. Talked about pretty much every game about 5x more than the Cards.

So it doesn't surprise me that most of the country doesn't talk about, or even is aware of what the Cardinals are doing.
But, I'm OK with that. . .

So dumb.

A Rodgers-less Packers and a .500 Chiefs team.

At least have all of the NFC West markets watch the game.

Man that’s such a good point. The cards have become pretty clean from a penalty perspective. That was a big issue in the past. I hadn’t even realized how virtually penalty free we have been lately. That’s HUGE
