They also cut Punter from last year Haack because of Matt Araiza. My guess is we're not going to move on from Andy Lee and if we did, Haack wouldn't be the guy, but we are starting to see some guys with NFL experience. Will be interesting to see what kind of kickers get cut I'm sure not convinced right now Prater can be trusted.

1 - DJ Humphries
2 - Justin Pugh
3 - Rodney Hudson
4 - Will Hernandez
5 - Kelvin Beachum
6 - Sean Harlow
7 - Cody Ford
8 - Marquis Hayes
9 - Josh Jones
10 - Lecitus Smith
11 - Joshua Miles

I don't know how many we are keeping but...no easy decisions in there outside of Miles. I feel this is the reason they had Jones play LT in preseason so they could tell if they could move on from Miles. Smith potentially to the practice squad but do you risk losing him?

Justin Murray?

On the surface this looks like a terrible deal. A 5th round pick for a fringe starter who is not under contract past this year. Obviously the Cardinals feel like there was a reason to make this move but I can't really tell what it is.
Yeah, it says to me either Pugh or Hudson or both is back to considering retirement.

I really don't get this. And I say this as a Ford fan pre draft.

We just traded a 5th for a guy who is Josh Jones. Probably worse than Josh Jones because at least Jones as shown promise at tackle. Ford has struggled everywhere.

And were already deep at G that's either better than or more promising than Ford.

Push
Hernandez
Murray
Jones
Harlow

Are all better or equal to Ford.

And I like Hayes and Smith to be better too.

He's now a lock for the 53 taking a spot from a guy like Hayes or Smith.

Justin Murray is toast for sure. Ford is the same guy.

I can't even see a coaching upside because he's had good O line coaches.

yeah I think this is more likely about Pugh than Hudson, that they think Pugh simply isn't going to be able to hold it down this year after losing all that weight and trying to gain it back so they are getting a guy they think can help.

Could be about Hudson too but my guess is it's about Pugh
Pugh has indicated in every interview I’ve heard that he is just as heavy & maybe heavier than last year. He utilized a different workout program & feels stronger than he’s ever felt.

They absolutely are not cutting Hayes or Smith.

If anyone is going it will be Harlow and Murray.

Ford was running 3rd team for the Bills and was getting passed on depth chart by 6-7th rounders and UDFA. Sounds like this was just to make Kyler happy. Awful trade.

Well yeah Harlow, Murray, Miles would be my 3 now. But I doubt its their 3. There's always a head scratching cut.

This trade is super weird outside of "I'm collecting Kyler's mates like Pokemon".

We're doing a pretty amazing job re-assembling the 2018 Oklahoma team that went 12-2 in the Big 12 and was absolutely boatraced by Alabama in the first round of the BCS.

OU played without their best player (Hollywood Brown) outside of K1. They played a horrible 1st quarter, but K1 embarrassed that strong Alabama D after that. OU was also playing without 3 defensive starters due to suspension. And the D never stopped Bama once the whole game.

Yeah, Keim just doesn't know how to assemble an offensive line. Not a great move for not a great player, and once again giving up draft capital. A head scratcher for sure.

I will be surprised if they cut Harlow.

Funny how all the Murray naysayers pointed out that he played behind a GREAT OL at OU, something he wouldn’t have with the Cardinals. Now, we pick up one of those OL, and it’s suddenly a bad thing?

It appears we simply had too many draft picks and needed to get rid of one while we could. It doesn't look good to have so many busts in the draft. Less picks = Less busts, which in turn helps your GM in several ways.

The old "he sucked in the 1Q, got down by 28 points, but then embarrassed them but still lost by 11" strategy. #galaxybrain

(edit: Kyler was down 28-0 not 21-0)

That’s because the short handed D never stopped Alabama when OU scored on every possession after the 1st quarter.
OR

it was because Kyler went 1-5 and 18 yards passing, 3 rushes for 8 yards, two sacks in his first three drives accounting for 3 plays, 5 plays and 5 plays. Two punts and one turnover on downs.
