Cardinals Announce New Television Deal with ABC 15

Tempe, AZ – The Arizona Cardinals and ABC 15 (KNXV) today announced a two-year agreement that will result in the station carrying Cardinals preseason games and other team television programming.

ABC 15 will carry all four preseason game telecasts in 2005, each of which will be preceded by a special 30-minute Maximum Cardinals – The Pre-Game Show.

Both road preseason games - August 20 at Kansas City and August 26 at Oakland – will be broadcast live at 7:30 PM and 6:30 PM, respectively.

The two home games - August 13 vs. Dallas and September 2 vs. Denver – can be seen hours later on a taped-delayed basis unless the game is sold out, in which case it will be aired live. The tape-delayed telecast of the Dallas game will start at midnight and the Denver game will air at 12:30 AM.

ABC 15 will also be the home of Maximum Cardinals throughout the regular season. The 30-minute magazine show will air during the regular season on Saturday nights at 11:30 PM.

Thank goodness they got away from that ridiculous ch 27. It was embarassing for an NFL team to have it's preseason games broadcast by a rinky-dink station whose studio was in Prescott.
