I swear it's the scripted plays that are garbage every week, once we get out of the script it gets a little better

I hate to go there, but it makes sense that a QB who doesn't put in extra film work will take several play series to figure out what the defense is doing and will start slow. I know this is a tired narrative but it told the story before and still seems valid.
