Conner nominated....and he wins for the 3rd time.

He is actually getting to the corner in decent shape this year, and it's not an automatic fail when he reverses direction either.

Not the same back from 2022. I don't know what changed but he's more effective.

Edit - might be run blocking. We might be run blocking better this year.

Scheme mainly I would think. Much more zone over the power/gap scheme we had before.

You need a couple guys like JC. I miss Maxx Williams, another guy from the same mold.

Just want to throw out there that although used sparingly in the passing game, my boy Maxx Willaims was a capable receivier.

2019 = 15 catches on 19 targets. 13.5 YPC.

In only five games in 2021 = 16 catches on 17 targets. 12.1 YPC but then the severe knee injury.

He of course was also a devastating blocker, earning the name "Maxxdozer" from his AFSN fans.
