I get it. What I’m saying it was stupid to really expect him to come back this year anywhere near what he was.

To be fair their still working him back up to fitness. He's only played 17% of snaps.

Which I expected.

There were some here claiming we had the best tight end room in the NFL after drafting McBride.
I never thought Williams was going to come close to what he was previously. He may be able to contribute in 2023. It was a terrible injury.
@BritCard was just doing this yesterday or the day before, and now, a post below, isn't surprised Maxx has been cut. That's a record direction change lol

Where did I say we had the best TE room or act surprised he was cut?

I did. It still is.

Maxx is hurt, they needed a roster spot. I'm sure he will be back when he's healed up.
We have a rookie with a few catches in four games--but hey, he's actually active now!--and an over-the-hill guy catching short passes. Ertz isn't the worst, and McBride has potential, but this TE room isn't much right now.

Maxx is one yr post injury. I’ve had a full reconstruction (and my injury still wasn’t as bad as maxx’s). So much goes into recovery: you need to allow the tissues time to heal without inflaming every other week, the nerves to fire properly, regain the strength in your hips and ankles, and regain the confidence in the knee. It took me 18-24 months before I had all the above come together. This is true for a lot of players (unless your name is Adrian Peterson).

I personally thought he’d start the first 6-8 weeks of the season on IR. He’ll be placed on the PS and be given another opportunity at the roster.

This fan base, man.

It's the best TE room this franchise has probably ever had and fans still moan.

Zach Ertz isn't over the hill and he can hardly help the routes he is asked to run and Kyler being check down king. I pointed out one 30 yarder where Ertz was wide open last week and that was just skimming the first half.

He's TE10 in yards and TE4 in fantasy and fans still complain.

The whole receiving corps YPC is trash because Kyler's YPA is trash.

I'd think you just started watching this team based on this comment.

Cardinals TE room IS pretty good.

It's very exciting to know that we have some really good tight ends. I think it's important to every team to have at least one, if not two.
