Cardinals cuts to 53

They went with best 53 overall. Some changes still likely.

I liked Powell better than Golden. Williams didn't do much. Looks the part, that's about it. He should be PS p/u. Maybe another CB they're high on.

Gaston was my only real surprise. Maybe they were concerned with his durability.

Glad Carson Fells and Powell stuck.

Carson and Powell really earned their spot.

Sowell is on the bubble right now depending on waiver claims.

I am shocked that they cut Potter. I really thought he would improve and be a valuable backup for us for years. Goes to show you what I know.

He dislocated his shoulder in the last pre-season game, which is why he has the injury settlement. After the bad showing both he & Sowell had in the last game, both should've been expecting to be cut. I heard that Eric Winston got cut by Seattle, but I don't know if he can swing over to the LT spot as the reserve swing T.
