He deserves to be called by his given name at least once on this fan forum.

I hope the Cards draft him so I can buy his jersey and put his full name across the back.

I absolutely agree. Vita Vea is kind of a boring name when you know his given name is the other one. I would do almost anything to get the team representatives at the draft to write his given name on the draft card they turn in and which Goodell reads the announcement from.

Wisconsin, you might enjpy Day two more, since we have three picks. Unless, we use them all in order to move up on Day one. :)

I enjoy every pick, I am one of the truly sick people that watch every minute of it all the way through round 7. It pisses me off that they don't give the same attention to the draft in round 7 as they do in round one. The coverage is terrible, but I still can't stop watching. Draft days are my second, third, and fourth favorite days of the year. Opening day being first.

I'm kind of bent this year I am working a boxing event in Oshkosh that Saturday night. I will tape the draft, but this will be the first time I am not watching it live since ESPN first started televising it, I think. I was in New York one year for the draft and did not miss a minute of it, my wife was trying to drag me out of the hotel and I couldn't do it.

Add me to that list. I watch it all the way to the end.

Then I read all the threads about all of our players

yup.... boring jackoffs over there talking smack or slurping up on why so and so should make a team for twenty minutes or more... then suddenly, " and while we were away, this guy, that guy, and this other guy were selected...and arizona also made their pick"... you get two or three players with no team mentioned, then a team mentioned but no players.... late round coverage is a disaster...
I watch it just so I can see if anyone I know gets drafted, lol

Round about Day 2, I turn off the teevee, hop on down to the old home office and log into the nfc.com draft tracker site. The picks come in fast enough to make it hard to keep up with them while crossing off my board, projecting the next Cardinal pick and updating my Coolest Available Picks list.

The only way I stay plugged into ESPN or NFLN is after the draft when I fast fwd thru the DVR to cherrypick Cardinal content.

What would be really cool would be if the club swore one or two fans to secrecy, let them sit inside the war room while letting them host a running blog where they could discuss current and earlier Cardinal picks in real-time.

Jeff, that's a great idea. My suggestion that the team puts all of their season ticket holders in a lottery. And if the first one picked isn't interested, then they go to the second fan. Have two or three winners. They'd have to sign."The Official Secrets Act".

I want Vander Each. I know we have Buc and Reddick, but I have a feeling he's going to be a Pro Bowler at some point.

My concept for how this team is going to be successful is doubling down on its strengths. Build a really nasty defense and a ball control offense.

Draft a corner, wide receiver, and offensive line depth.
