McCallen 12 year is my favorite, but pricey. The 10 year is really good too and about 40$ a bottle.

Oh ya and forget the soda that stuff will give you a hang-over. Just put some ice in a tumbler and pour. Its the only way to fly.

Johnny Walker Blue is the best since it's aged about 30 years......but at about
$100 a bottle it's a tad pricey....had a drunk friend of mind bubble it one time to the chagrin of the owner.

Some Scotch can go as high as $10,000 a bottle.

You show me someone who sells Blue for $100, and I'll buy as many bottles as that person has. Blue usually runs about $200 a bottle. IMO the best bang for your buck is Johnnie Green or Gold. Both are aged for a min. of 15 years and have a fantastic finish. For those with money to blow, the Glenlivet 1959 is absurd. I got a SMALL taste a few months back...It'll run ya a couple grand, but like I said, for those with money to blow.

Glen Breton Rare Canadian Single Malt Whisky is the only single malt whisky produced in Canada. It is produced by the traditional copper pot stills method using only three ingredients: Barley, Yeast and Water.

It can not be called 'Scotch' unless it is produced in Scotland, hence, Canadian Single Malt Whisky.

Colour: Golden Amber

Nose: Butterscotch, heather, honey and ground ginger

Taste: Creamy with a good flow of toasty wood, almond and caramel

Finish: Rounded, lingering, faintly sweet, merest whisper
of peat

PS - Anyone else love the Alyssa Milano NFL commercial? She is timelessly hot....

:D

Met her once on the set of Charmed (knew a friend of a friend of a friend type thing). No makeup on yet and she was smoking hot. But, she had the hairiest arms I have ever seen on a women in my life, thought I was shaking the hand of Grizzly Adams.

** Mods - Please stop this runaway train of a subject thread :bang:***

If we stopped every thread that veered off subject, I'd have to shut down 95% of them.

As you can see from my post count im pretty new around here and so far i've noticed that the cards fans here tend to veer most threads off the subject towards things like drinks and women...... but then again ive found that most of my normal conversation go like that and the best often end up being about women so i say veer away and veer away often.

Welcome.

Does the new guy still buy on this site?

If so, I'd like a dozen chicken wings and a glass of milk. Cheers.

A bourbon by definition is from only Bourbon County, KY. Canadian Club is a blend as opposed to a straight rye, but most Canadian whiskey is a blend of mostly if not all rye, and referred to by Canadians as rye

Thanks for the info

Was hoping to hear some news on Foote or Porter when I logged on this morning. The waiting is killing me.

Doesnt shock me. My buddy had a poster of her when we were teenagers. She had the hairiest "treasure trail" I have ever seen on a woman. All black too. It was bad. I used to give my buddy crap for it all the time. Freaked me out.

Dammit, guys! You are RUINING Alyssa Milano for me!!!

I think she's a couple or three years older than me and I have been infatuated with her since I was like 7.

So, can we go on to Jessica Alba, or will that devolve into a herpes discussion?

BTW, I might have to accept those consequences in that regard....

I was just quoting my buddy who gets a bottle every year from his daughter....also he's been drinkin it for years and not buyin it.

Interesting that someone said they didn't care for Chevis but liked Glenlivet.....one of the scotches in the blended Chevis Regal is Glenlivet.

Drinkin Bushmill's as I type with $2.99 a 6-pack 16 oz. Ginny Light from Rochester NY.
