They eliminated 3 candidates earlier. Glenn, VJ & Callahan were all told they're not getting the job. Now it's down to Kafka, Anarumo & Flores. Maybe they ask to interview Steichen after the SB?

My gut feeling is that this is Flores' job to lose right now. I also think it's a classic case of overcorrection from Kliff, but that was to be expected.

I wonder if Flores was the favorite but didnt present the best offensive option. So they gave him a week or so to see if he could put together a better plan. Or see how he feels about keeping someone from Kliff's staff. Maybe Whipple.

I don't think Kafka and KK are similar at all, as I've mentioned before. Kafka is actually about 5 years younger than Kliff was, when he was hired. Kafka has zero, I believe, head coaching experience. Kliff was air raid, while Kafka is shown to be ball control, or at least adaptable to the personell he has. Kliff if dating IG models and has an image...I don't think Kafka has all that.

Kafka pounded the rock with the Giants, I hope if he's hired Sears & Ossenfort build a strong ass OL. Having said that, I would love to see him use some of the Chiefs offense.

Might have to hire Flores so Denver doesn't hire him as DC. Payton and Flores together in Denver would mean two of our HC candidates didn't want to be here.

I think previous relations would play a big roll.

Kafka does. He was a backup QB for the Patriots a few years while Monti was there.
