Cason is not a top 20 pick
speed...
Speed??
Get that outta here, dude
That's an awful highlight film. If anything it makes me not even remotely consider him at #16.
speed is the reason that he is not one of the top 3 CB's in this draft.
Cason has all the intangibles to be a great CB and he played in a major conference, yet he is rated lower than 3 small conference players. Speed is obviously an issue. If speed isn't the issue this year then why is he, at best, only the 4th rated CB (most draft sites have him rated much lower but I'm giving the benefit of the doubt).Speed wasn't the issue last year.. Isn't an issue this year.
Speed was an issue for Boldin too...40 times are way overrated. Game Speed/Production is what matters.Cason has all the intangibles to be a great CB and he played in a major conference, yet he is rated lower than 3 small conference players. I agree. I am a Cason fan. I am just responding to the comment that his speed isn't having an effect on his draft status, it clearly is. I am glad his speed is causing him to slip, because if he was timed at 4.38 then he wouldn't be available at #16.Speed was an issue for Boldin too...40 times are way overrated.
