All the talk of his quote unquote toxicity is irrelevant. The entire Steelers organization is a mess, and he's just a product of the environment. Teams are stupid to pass on someone of his caliber, us especially.

You know you were a cancer in the locker room when you’re team is willing to eat $21 million in dead cap space to get rid of you .... WOW

Not sad about him not coming here. Great talent, but also a bit of TO/Ochocinco about him. I think the disruptiveness that is on him is exaggerated but don't see him being a good fit with our club at the moment with the turmoil and uncertainty we have. If we were stable like we were 3 or 4 years back I would be all for it.

I don’t believe for one second that it’s exaggerated when you’re team is willing to take a $21 million dead Hit... In fact it’s likely worse than is portrayed..

Totally agree. I do listen to the Doug and Wolfley show in the mornings. Wolf is careful on what he says about Antonio Brown as his brother is the sideline reporter for the Steelers. However he has hinted that the Cards don’t want this guy (Antonio) in the locker room. He has been adamant about this.

I don't know how "fragile" the Cards culture is but the mighty Steeler's culture can't handle him so we can agree to pass on AB

That mighty Steelers culture has been eroding for years. It's pretty much nonexistent now.

Oh, somebody lumped JuJu in with the other malcontents on the team. That just isn't the case. JuJu is well-respected by pretty much everyone here.

Google it. hes looking for guaranteed money.

Yup. He's stated on multiple occasions he's looking for a new deal.

Again, it ain't 21 mill in dead money. Bad reporting.

They straight up said on NFL Network last night that they have to carry 21 million into Space to unload him ... if NFL network is out right reporting it? Can you provide proof that that’s not factual ?

In March of last year the Steelers restructured Browns Contract to create 2018 cap space. They basically took a bunch of his salary and his roster bonus and made it into a signing bonus which ended up totaling to about $7M each remaining year in signing bonus. Hence the $21M dead money if traded.

This is from a Steeler fan site...

Given the column inches already dedicated to the subject on this site and many others, most fans are already well aware of the salary cap implications of trading Brown, but given the inaccurate reporting by some notable names in the media as of late, it would appear that a reminder might be in order.

A restructure of Browns contract in March of 2018 effectively attached a prorated bonus of $7.04 million to each of the remaining years of his deal, with the entire amount needing to be accounted for financially this season if Brown was released or traded before before June 2.

Set to earn a base salary of $12.652 million in 2019 and a roster bonus of $2.5 million due on March 17, Brown would have a total cap hit of $22.165 million if he remains with the Steelers in 2019. Should he be traded, while Pittsburgh would be off the hook for the $15.125 million in cash due to Brown, they would still need to account for the three outstanding years of prorated signing bonus attached to his contact.

Ultimately, a trade would leave the Steelers with a dead money figure of $21.12 million to account this season and create a cap saving of just $1.045 million, regardless of how some in the media might attempt to spin the numbers to make it appear otherwise.

Stout won’t come off this so don’t even try.

Anyone else think the Steelers will make a big jump for the better next year?

In that order

No way the Vikings are trading for him. You’re off your rocker. They have 2#1s as it is and good #1s.

Both locked up too and young... Not enough balls to go around and AB would be pissed. Unless they are trading one of there under 26 year old stars as part of the deal which would be historically stupid.

Anyone else think he might just quit instead of going to Buffalo? Lol

Wouldn’t shock me but they’d have to ask him prior one would assume.

Knowing how crazy he seems to be, I wouldn't be surprised if that guy just drops off the face of the earth...disappear to some island country in the middle of the ocean.
