Hopefully Raiders dont make the move for him. We need one of those picks from them for Bosa or QB now that we have rumors, Raiders shopping Carr @ combine lol

Not a chance in Hell that any team is offering up a #1 for him. Pittsburgh has backed themselves into a corner.

After reading through the thread, and understanding all the history, I don't think our organization's fragile culture can afford a personality/ego like Brown.

I don't know how "fragile" the Cards culture is but the mighty Steeler's culture can't handle him so we can agree to pass on AB

Dramatics aside, Antonio Brown agreed to a contract, & a restructure that make him fiscally “untradable" in 2019.

The #Steelers should be standing by their business decisions, & expect the 31-year-old to show up for work, & catch balls from their future HOF QB one more year.

Supply & Demand.

Any other draft year and there would be a paucity of talented receivers. This year's talent pool is overloaded..

That ESPN interview with Jeff Darlington was so cringeworthy I could barely get thru it. No wonder Pittsburg is taking a $20m cap hit to get rid of him.

Actually dick head AB has backed the Stealers into a corner! He’s talented as hell, as much of an egomaniac & Headcase as TO & a complete moron as a teammate.

This isn’t on the Stealers, it’s squarely on #84

Ben's a moron and Brown is a wack job... they should keep playing together, with a coach who's worn out his welcome :grabs:

I gotta say - the narrative out there on Ben is absolutely ridiculous.

I mean seriously. The guy is a HOF QB who is the entire backbone of that team. Say what you want about his (alleged) past, but Ben has been nothing but professional the great majority of his career.

Now that his career is winding down, he's been surrounded by total jackasses and egomaniacs like Le'Veon Bell, Antonio Brown & Juju Smith-Schuster. It's idiots like those guys that can negate the all the good that guys like Ben, Cam Heyward, Stephon Tuitt, and Ryan Shazier bring to a locker room.

Growing up in Pittsburgh - I hate the Steelers more than anybody. They're the worst. But there is no doubt that the national narrative on Ben being toxic to the team is just embarrassing and so off base.

Just wait and see what happens to that team once Ben retires.

It was worse than watching TO do situps in his driveway.

Maybe a halfway comparison for Ben is Curt Schilling...with Curt, you never know what he's going to say off the field, but his pitching in big situations was nails....I think most complaints about Ben have been with his mouth, not his play. Am I way off?

The narrative out there on a borderline rapist is just wrong! Poor poor Ben!

Playing the world's tiniest violin for him. :violin:

Not exactly. I'm sure Ben doesn't care what your average pissant thinks - and nor should he.

People pick and choose to talk about whatever fits their narrative. If you don't like Ben - you call him a rapist.

That doesn't change he fact that he's the only thing keeping the Steelers alive. And if you don't believe me - just wait until he retires.

I agree that he's said some stupid stuff in terms of blaming others for things that he had some control over - but I don't think he's erratic like Schilling.

Ben has gotten criticized for calling out teammates in the media. Now I don't think that's always the best solution in the world, but look at that locker room. It's an absolute disaster because of guys like Le'Veon, AB, & JuJu (not as much JuJu - but he has his moments). Maybe going to the media was almost out of desperation to try to make his teammates more accountable.

The reality is - Ben has carried that team plenty of times before (as we have all certainly seen lol), and is a lock for the Hall of Fame. Meanwhile, you couldn't melt Le'Veon & AB and pour them into a big game.

I'll bet he winds up in SF. And completely pollutes the locker room and will be pouting and disrupting by Week 1.

I think people are over playing AB's "attitude." Any team that gets him will be leaps and bounds more effective on offense.

The SIRIUS guys point out that the team whose QB isn't "strong" is likely to see him buckle under pressure when a guy like Brown feels he isn't being thrown-to often enough
