Well I guess we know who Jurecki was talking about now.

This is not very exciting - but honestly he is still probably better than Stanton if he can pick up the playbook

He's worth a look. Has six years of experience now so he should be used to the NFL. I really liked him coming out of college. He was great at Missouri.

They aren't signing him to start, they're just taking a look. Much prefer Keim and Company taking a look at as many players as they can rather than not bringing anyone in at all.

A couple of tweets followed a recap to provide context?

Doesn't make it so. Doesn't make it meaningful.

He can sit behind Palmer for year or two and take over when Palmer walks away from football. We might never ever have to draft a QB again.

Personally I would rather kick the tires on Kaepernick but I'm not opposed to looking at Gabbert. It's much better than sticking with the status quo after Palmer.

Gabbert is better than Stanton the last two years. Arguably. Cutting Stanton would free up over $2M. Price for Gabbert matters but I'd be okay with a small contract, non gtd. or small gtd.

BA will not cut Stanton.
