Your point is well taken, but it exposes something that, I think, should be rectified. Chris O'Brien started this team and was its driving force for its first 30 years. He should be the Washington equivalent. For that matter, he should be in the Hall of Fame.
Larry Wilson is an obvious choice.
Paddy Driscoll should clearly be a member. His presence in a game usually meant the difference between winning and losing.
And, like the actual Rushmore that included a distinguished but less monumental Teddy Roosevelt (probably because he was fresh in the memory), I say add in Fitz.
My rules are strict and I will not deviate...
Aeneas, Fitz, Boldin, etc... may only be considered for the hallowed place on top of the mountain after they've retired and have been chosen by their peers as members of the Hall of the great.
PS: Teddy R... may be viewed as the first "environmental' President with the creation of numerous national parks in your country as his legacy. So, perhaps with time, he becomes more distinquished.
