Last year at this time we were having a nice preseason & I thought we might be a decent team. We turned out to be dog crap. Like BA's first season, it may take 4-5 games before the O gels. It's the D that scares the hell out of me.

Not a surprising move. I wonder if the injury was "created?"

Butler did not seem ready to make an impact early, but a trip to IR would hinder his development. Players on IR can't practice.

Thats the safety clause so we dont have to risk putting him on the practice squad

The only impact I saw was in the red zone with one on one drills. He needs more seasoning

Kliff Kingsbury said he's comfortable offense will be ready for season opener because of reps it's getting in practice. I asked if practice speed is the same as game speed. His reply: "That's the plan."

Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury said he may employ more of the offense this weekend against the Vikings than has been run thus far. "It's still going to be not as complex as we want to be but I would just say we've worked our processes more this wk as far as game planning goes."

Didn't see a good number of players on the field during open portion of practice: DB Josh Shaw, CB Deatrick Nichols, LB Terrell Suggs, OL Max Garcia, OL Marcus Gilbert and DL Corey Peters.

LG Justin Pugh was on the field, though.
