Kliff Kingsbury, Vance Joseph and Kyler Murray return to the big stage on Monday night.

The bright lights will be on, and it's win or go home.

Who's betting this trio will come out breathing fire?
Considering they literally haven't done that in any playoff-clinching or division-clinching game, I won't be betting that this will happen at all. Quite the opposite. I hope they prove me wrong.

I see you're blithely ignoring all those positive posts of mine from when we were winning and playing very well. I guess my wild optimism and predicting huge, lopsided victories week in and week out are dark sider material smh

Okay, let me rephrase. Your dark side shines through more than your optimism.

That is fair. Even when we're playing exceptionally well, I will definitely point out where the trouble spots are, as I see them. For instance, Hicks sucked early in the season, but was getting away with it. To his credit, he stepped up and played like a monster for a long stretch after that. I know I caught flak for that opinion.

To be fair, this franchise dwells in the dark side on the field much more than anything that warrants optimism.

I'm not arguing it or saying that it is a flaw or any kind.

In the past 3 years though, there are plenty of reasons to have both optimism and pessimism. That is rare for our franchise.

You know, JJ and Hop should be used to failure in big games...they were Houston Texans for several years before joining the Cards. Same ol', same ol' for them sadly.

I think the fans that grow up now, and started maybe in the BA time will be different from guys that follow the cards from 1900-2006 this will clearly get better. And if we somehow finally win some SB rings even the old dark sider will get brighter and brighter. And it is happening already, we had no darksider post for at least 1/3 of the regular season. That is unheared of. Anybody can remember such a long stretch? I can't even under BA we had some really bad flaws and games.

people forget Kupp's worst game this year 5 for 64 no TD's, was the first game against us. I don't know why but that game we defended him much better, most of the throws that Stafford missed in that game were to other guys not really him. 2nd time around he destroyed us.

My main concern is we moved the ball on them well both times but we had D Hop both games, and one of Conner or Edmonds was healthy in both games they might both play Monday but neither is going to be close to 100% I suspect. I am hoping the extra day, edmonds seems to be a great fit against the Rams at least he was in the first game.

As someone mentioned yesterday for whatever reason the Rams have really struggled with Green in our 2 games but that was with D Hop I imagine they will take AJ away so we're going to need Kirk, Moore and Wesley to step up. Which is why I want Edmonds back I figure they will key on Green and Ertz and that will make Edmonds underneath a big threat.
I remember several passes to Kupp that Stafford missed & had nothing to do with our coverage being good. Not short passes either. I hope we can find a way to win but I just don't see it. What I do see is Kupp lighting us up once again. Only way I see us winning this game is by creating several turnovers. I have plenty of hope & not much faith. Just where I'm at the way these last 5-6 games have went.

I remember a low throw to him and maybe one other. He had something like 5 catches in 14 targets in that game.

Stout: you are only what the critics want you to be, facts be damned. Hell, at midseason I was predicting us to win when koolaiders were predicting losses. But those comments are never acknowledged and are quickly forgotten on the board.
