Nothing like a short week for the team that wins! Especially if we win and then have to go to Lambeau!

Hopefully we can come through. But man, this sucks.

Also, we beat the Cowboys last year on Monday night didn't we?

"You'll take your pathetic 2nd half of the season and 1-and-out drubbing in the playoffs and YOU WILL LIKE IT because how dare you as Cards fans think you DESERVE anything better!"

Sorry, but trying to preach at battered Cards fans after just watching the nightmare game and situation they just had to endure is ludicrous. Let fans suffer for a bit and they'll bounce back.
I get what you are saying, but you are pretty much always on the dark side...

Maybe but it probably ain't gonna matter who's playing CB cause Kupp will burn whoever is covering him. VJ doesn't know how to double him. Kyler will be running for his life from Donald & the rest of their DL.

He had his lowest receiving total of the year in game 1 vs Arizona so I'm going to say nah.

This. I don't get the cognitive dissonance of bemoaning the loss so we could have played at home.

We have SUCKED at home. Even in the games we won we sucked. I can't think of anything worse than a home game.

We have been road underdogs 6 times this season and won all 6.

I really don't get the hate in general either. Yes, it wasn't a great performance but there was no Edmonds, no Moore, our CBs were 4th string. How do people expect them to defend Lockett and DK with Borders and Hamilton?

We get extra time to prepare with the Monday game. Should have Wilson, Edmonds, Moore and Philips back. Hopefully Alford and Watt too.

While moaning about us you forget the Rams just gog beat at home in a game they were up 17 and could have cost them the season.
Most of those players are not coming back at 100%.

I'm pretty sure the team that just got beat by the sorry seahawks is pretty much the team we have going to the playoffs, so being optimistic seems like you are in denial to me.

Well either we get them back and we are better, or we don't and we are too beat up to play at our best. Certainly no point bemoaning the 2nd one.

people forget Kupp's worst game this year 5 for 64 no TD's, was the first game against us. I don't know why but that game we defended him much better, most of the throws that Stafford missed in that game were to other guys not really him. 2nd time around he destroyed us.

My main concern is we moved the ball on them well both times but we had D Hop both games, and one of Conner or Edmonds was healthy in both games they might both play Monday but neither is going to be close to 100% I suspect. I am hoping the extra day, edmonds seems to be a great fit against the Rams at least he was in the first game.

As someone mentioned yesterday for whatever reason the Rams have really struggled with Green in our 2 games but that was with D Hop I imagine they will take AJ away so we're going to need Kirk, Moore and Wesley to step up. Which is why I want Edmonds back I figure they will key on Green and Ertz and that will make Edmonds underneath a big threat.

These are all good points and probably a much more level-headed approach, but I have been to every home loss this season and the frustration level inured from that experience is honestly exhausting. We’ll stop moaning the next time the team does something that has us all back in kool-aid mode.

Our only real hope here is that Stafford craps the bed... otherwise, if he plays well, I don't see any chance for a Cards victory.

This. And the Cardinals incompetence to stop the run means a 3 point lead by Rams in 3rd quarter may be insurmountable.

Kliff Kingsbury, Vance Joseph and Kyler Murray return to the big stage on Monday night.

The bright lights will be on, and it's win or go home.

Who's betting this trio will come out breathing fire?

Yeah their defense is the difference they've won several games recently where Stafford had multiple TO's but they still won due to the defense. Hopefully we get enough of our guys back on D to step it up, if we get some of Watt, Phillips, Alford and Wilson back so we can improve our run defense without having to bring the safeties both up, we have a chance. If you have noticed Stafford has been turning it over quite a bit for awhile now, OBJ has been really good for them but it's also led to more turnovers as Stafford takes more shots downfield. At least one pick in 7 of his last 9 games, only the 2nd game against us and the Jags game 0 picks.

The best chance to stop them is stop the run, make Stafford throw and then get in his face. not always easy to do of course.

Front 4 has to get pressure on him so he'll make bad throws. That's the plan against Murray because there's no short slants or other timing throws, only outlets to RB.

Considering they’ve never come out in a situation like this breathing fire, I wouldn’t bet on it. But I’ll be there to personally witness whatever does happen, hoping against hope to be wrong!

I see you're blithely ignoring all those positive posts of mine from when we were winning and playing very well. I guess my wild optimism and predicting huge, lopsided victories week in and week out are dark sider material smh
