This wasn't just a game, it was the game they needed to win. Its really downhill from here.

I said earlier this week, "If we can't beat Seattle, then we have no business playing." :bang: What in the hell just happened? Ugh.

Atlanta, Philly, Chicago and a host of others are 1-2 too. It's a long season still to go, but hard to be optimistic at this point.

Man, that loss was like having someone on a ventilator with the doctor telling you every five minutes, "It doesn't look good. There is slight hope but it doesn't look good."
Long week incoming.

Its a loss in typical cardinal fashion. The defense played well enough to win but the offense failed. Lately its been the other way around. tough loss on the road to a division foe.

Sure but the OL has to stop letting guys run around them, that last sack the guy ran right by Keith and came from behind Kolb who was already sidestepping Levi's man, hard to fault Kolb on that play IMHO.

No one gets a consistent 3 to 4 seconds in the NFL. Kolb's gunslinger attitude looks alot like Jake's did. However we have no late game heroics to show for it yet.

You say accept it sound like that is what you are doing. Its a game for me, its entertainment. I dont live or die because of this team. I get frustrated but If I truely hated something I wouldn't put myself through it.

And this from a guy who just wouldn't quit gnawing on that ASU Rose Bowl bone.

Come on you hate it when the Cards lose just like the rest of us.

Nobody is going to commit suicide because the Cards lose but it sure makes us want to rant.

I dont recall it that way. You just dont like to be called out when you throw foolish comments out. Sure I hate it but I dont say I hate this team or fire the entire team.

I won't claim to be a die hard cards fan. Hell I didn't know they existed when I was a kid so I grew up a Packers fan. I am all in on the local teams but time amd time again they disappoint and it's just a but much anymore.

It's like an infected sore, it needs to come to a head before it gets better.

I'd like to see ownership turn the fire on high where it belongs, right under the butss of the FO for assembling this garbage.

We have too many football dumb players, too many screw ups, to many talkers not enough walkers, this team needs to be gutted and rebuilt, again.

I like CKW, he needs to get the fire turned up on his butt too, until he learns how to spot players who will go to war and paycheck screwups.

IMO that's the number one problem with this team, they are short on character at the player level, that's not a substitute for talent mind you, you want both.

Best post of the day!!!!!! Dead on accurate assessment.

The sack prior to Feeley's 2nd miss is hard to blame on Kolb, the guy came from behind him after he'd sidestepped the rush. ANd he also ripped off Kolb's helmet which last time I checked was supposed to be a penalty, contact with the QB's head.

ANd again that guy beat Keith.

Kolb does need to be more careful with the ball but if our T's continue to suck like this and we get nothing from anybody but Fitz and Heap it's hard to blame Kolb for the passing game.

Russ, from what I could see Kolb ran right into that sack. His penchant for abandoning the pocket at the least sign of pressure was a concern and that is what it looked like he was doing today.

Hard to tell watching the poor quality feed though.

See this so ho hum..I mean Seattle isnt just a division foe. This team got beat like a 3rd grade pee wee team for 6 weeks...Preseason and first 2 weeks....They shouldnt have been close to us...yet we make a BADD team look good. Tavarius Jackson hadnt had a rating above 40!!!!!!!!! for 2 games...They were the worst rushing team in the NFL....and yet we come down here....and had no heart, no desire, no effort, and we looked lost. We run the no huddle and voila offense...yet after we score...WHiz thinks that going back to traditional offense works better and this is after we had 5 punts ina row in the 2nd half.

I agree. It is just a game that if the cards win or loss, it doesn't effect my personal life what so ever. But I do get angry as I have been a fan since day one and hate to see them loose.

Even on the Fitz TD he left the pocket too soon, threw off his back foot, and it took Superman putting on his cape to save that play.

Same here. That old cliche 'its just a game' gets trotted out all the time after performances like this and I mutter it to myself, but next week I'll be going throuigh a gut wrenching Sunday all over again. I don't even let stuff that actually effect my career or finances get to me like this team does.

Say what we want about how bad Seattle is, they have ALWAYS been good at home. This was a must win for them & they played hard all day. Even with Beanie, I expected this to be a squeaker. Without him, I didn't think we'd win. Feely choked today & Kolb just didn't get it done.

Man man man.. still incredibly let down by this game!! I thought we saw massive improvement from the defense (save for one drive) only to be let down by the offense and special teams.

The Skins game was tough, but most people thought it would probably be a pretty tough game. This was one of those "our opponent looks really bad, so we need to beat them if we expect to be a good team". To not pull it off is incredibly deflating!

Trying to stay glass half full, the rest of the division still looks terrible and we are far from out of it yet!

Feeley and Keith you mean. THe picks obviously hurt but the guy never had time the whole 2nd half because Clemons beat Keith like a drum.

Tough loss, I have no idea why Roberts didn't run out of bounds on that last play so we could throw a hail mary.

because he's not an experience WR. good thing we're depending on him to be our number 2!

liked his drop pass at the 50 on the sideline right before that too.

and we will get CRUSHED next week by the Giants. Then probably give minnesota their first win the week after and then just get ANNIHILATED by the Ravens. Looking like a disasterous start to the season.

Did Clemons get chipped at all yesterday? Or was it all Keith 1v1?
My other question is what the hell is wrong with Stewart Bradley. He looks like he's never played before. On Jackson's TD run he had no idea what was happening and Jackson ran literally right by him.
