Its a mystery .. somehow when the season starts they forget how to tackle and block ...I have never been able to understand why the Cards ST's are so bad year after year.

Ken's doing what he said he would and signing people to push the starters and provide depth. Not all of these players necessarily have to do both. Frankly, Morey may not even make the final team.
I would be really disappointed if the Cardinals didn't draft a new wide receiver, even with the Sporting News reporting that Ken plans to have 35-40 runs in each contest. The crop this year for WR is tubular and we need to look into getting one in the 4th or 5th round.
With all the needs, I will be extremely disappointed if the Cardinals draft a wide receiver.. Anquan Boldin, Larry Fitzgerald, Bryant Johnson, Leron McCoy, and the Spurlock kid make the WR corps the strongest position on the roster. With only six draft picks, the Cardinals need to address offensive line (2), LB (1), TE (1), CB (1 or 2) and possibly QB (1) and FB(1), before wide receiver IMO.
Seriously though, I've always wondered what I would do as GM if a super talent was available, like CJohnson for instance, at a position where I already had several top players. It would be tough to let him go and watch him put up Jerry Rice type numbers for someone else.
I agree.There -- I said it.
Well his 200 pounds or 2916 2/3 Troy ounces, at today's closing gold price of $647.45 per ounce, would make him worth $1,888,395.83. Spread over a three-year contract, i'd have to agree that he'd be well worth it if he contributes to a significant improvement in our special teams!

The Cards don't need to address any postions in the draft. They just have a few spots they might like to upgrade and Whisenhunt and Co. are going to simply "coach up" the rest of the boys.

I guess it would be like a contestant on Deal or No Deal where they took an offer of $200,000 and their case was worth $300,000.
We don't even need him to be a serviceable WR, we just need him to get 20 tackles in special teams. Thats it. We would be worth his weight in gold if we could improve our special teams.
Sean Morey runs in the 4.4s...
The Steelers last year clocked him at 4.4...
He also ran back 8 kickoffs for a 25.3 ave....one for 76 yards.
NFL "gunners" are not slow...
Morey was also the Steelers' special teams captain.
In 2003 when Morey played for the Eagles, Morey was named to Dr. Z's All-Pro team as his special teamer.
To say Morey is "very slow by WR standards"...is just wrong.
