It's ok to sometimes not like the people playing for or running the team you are a fan of. Fans are the ones putting money in these peoples bank accounts.

When you waste years of high draft pics on players who were drafted way out of place or don't play it's fair to not be happy with the GM. When you keep said GM around and never hold him responsible for poor decision making it's fair not to be happy with the owner. When you lose almost all of your end of season games season after season it's ok to not be happy with the coach. When you play like complete garbage in your most important / prime time games and often act like a child it's fair to not be happy with a QB.

You were happy at 7-0 at 10-2 though right? Maybe remember some of that too.

I don't mind the player but I fully expect him to end up getting snaps over Simmons or Collins at ILB. He is essentially a better version of Tanner Vallejo.

A nice stretch of the season falls flat when the season ends in absolute shambles, though. Folks are holding that up to show how good we can be, but they forget the rest of it, too.
I didn't say forget the rest. But it's literally all that gets discussed.

There was a whole lot of good too. More good than bad. The team had 11 wins. 2nd most in history.

Sure it didn't end well but this board acts like we finished 3-14.

I didn't.

We didn't even have enough money to resign our own players. I can't understand how anyone expected any kind of significant signing in FA.
Always money if they want it

Does Vigil cost us a compensatory pick? In other words was he cut by the new regime in MN or was he on a 1 year deal?

Contracts adjusted: DHop, Kennard, Pugh

Cuts: Phillips, Hicks

Re-sign: Ertz, Williams, Conner, McCoy, Gardeck, Dogbe, Lee, Brewer, Turner

Sign: Gladney, Vigil

P.S. It isn't over until it's over!

I like the summary. It will be interesting to see what it looks like when the Cardinals get done.

This guy is what he is. And we needed depth at LB. Ok.

To write off Collins or Simmons for next season right NOW, because of this signing? That seems a little hysterical to me. But, whatever turns you on I guess.
Chicken Little syndrome.

To say his 'entire' work is garbage is complete, utter, idiocy. Which can be proven by the point he's still here though his drafts suck rocks... compared to the hit/miss ratio with trades, Keim is actually aces
Of course he has some good moves but even a drunk squirrel finds the hangover helper.

His overall body of work speaks for itself and it is not good, especially drafting

This would be damning if it were actually true.

Hard for me to be patient when so many players are signing with other teams that fill positions that we have major needs like Edge rusher, WR, CB, OG and DT. We can always use a backup ILB which Vigil fills but we haven't improved our team yet.

That’s because we finished 1-5, in embarassing fashion and because of terrible salary cap management, we are even less talented than the team that fell apart when the rubber met the road last year.

This feels like a Belly Of The Beast off-season.

From what I've read this allows them to move Simmons around more if needed. Hopefully VJ figures it out.

This is just so Keim.
Except that tweet isn't accurate. He may have played MLB in a 4-3 the last two years, he played in a 3-4 as an ILB in Cincinnati for 5 years, where Vance was the CB coach the first year. In fact, in 2019 he played just uner 1000 snap and started all 16 games in Cincinnati at ILB.

I see the fit now. Thanks for the information. Still, hope this sign won't affect our comp picks.

The saints were 80 million over the cap and have done more than we have. There is ALWAYS money. It's been proven more this off-season than any other.
