Not sarcasm.

We knew Lindley was hot garbage long before he finished out last season..

I would have rather seen ANYONE other than Lindley.

I agree, but who do you get that was not as you say "hot Garbage"?

We've covered it there was nobody, BA did the best he could with the cards he was dealt. And for people to continually to go to the "Lindley" card...well it old and tired. Time to move on.

but after the performance he had we can all agree that who made this decision (a more competent person then us about football)made a really poor football decision? a decision that no one in this forum would have made

Our head coach? Yes I will say he is more competent than any of us on a message board. It's easy to sit here now and second guess the man, after all hindsight is 20/20.

This is not just a body signing. He can throw and he is very mobile. I did a report on him and my biggest concern was durability. I like his ability to contribute far more than Thomas. He's not a potential starter, but he could develop into an adequate backup. He beat some decent teams at NIU.

Wow, thanks for the info Harry. I thought BA wanted him to help tutor Thomas and provide a bit of competition and of course a 4th arm is needed for camp.

Whose spot is he taking on the roster? BA doesn't carry 4 QBs; Palmer is the starter, the team is insistent on developing Logan Thomas, and BA loves Drew Stanton. Additionally, it is likely both Palmer and Stanton aren't available, or at least ready, to participate in mini camp and OTAs. They need more than one QB to throw the rock.

With that said, he is just a camp body; we as Cards fans just get a little too excited whenever any quarterback is signed.

Put Thomas on the Practice squad - no one else would roster him. That's assuming BA must keep him.
