Bethea started all 16 games in 2016 recording 110 tackles, three passes defensed, one forced fumble and one interception.

On March 7, 2017, Bethea was released by the 49ers.[7] On March 9, 2017, Bethea agreed to a deal with the Arizona Cardinals on a 3 Year deal

I think he had 110 Combined tackles last year, 95 solo tackles. That is a horrible stats for the Niners. My SS making that many tackles, WOW!

No wonder he wanted to be released from the Niners! LMAO!

All of the things besides these signing were telegraphed weeks ago. No surprises yet. I am more concerned about our draft and want role players and swearinger out of FA. Maybe a RG too on the cheap.

Depending on the cost I don't have a problem with this signing.

This is a team that is going to be in need of leadership, especially on the defensive side of the ball, given our potential losses.

I can't imagine we're giving him a bounty here. Wonder what this means for Swearinger.
