Max William's was well thought of a few years go. Big guy, good blocker, very tough. Well rounded TE, but has had a slew of injuries.

Air Raid doesnt NOT use a TE, its just less often.

Good signing! A 'real' tight end is needed for the Field Goal unit and, if he can block and catch, could be useful in short yardage and goal line situations.

After the addition of TE Maxx Williams the Cardinals have seven tight ends on the current roster. It creates great competition for depth at the back end of the roster. It always a numbers game so they could they keep three tight ends; another option one for the practice squad.
